What a lovely gift box filled with things to welcome a new addition. In an ideal world, one would find good use for every single gift one receives but in reality, that probably doesn’t happen all that often. What one finds useful, another may not. Here’s what’s included in the box: The muslin swaddle blanket. It does have decorative fringe on the ends so one would need to take care with that so that it didn’t get in the baby’s way, depending on the age of the young one. I love the little knit bunny! Super cute with no loose parts. The most adorable little pair of gray shoes. For ages 0-6 months so they’re obviously not necessarily for wear when walking but more decorative…and they are adorable. The knit one piece romper is lovely. Personally it’s probably not something I’d put on for every day use as I believe one might need to hand wash it, but it is definitely great for dress up or portrait wear. A little yarn colored neutral colored rainbow which one would hang from something. Cute. A rubber, what I imagine is a teether. Personally I’m a bit suspect of plastics without knowing the makeup of what’s in there so not sure I’d give it to a baby as a teether, but it is cute. A circular wooden disc with the words “Hello World” on it. I can totally see this being used as a photography prop for perhaps a birth announcement. A wooden rattle toy. Very smooth, no rough edges. But I would still take care and supervise a baby with this item. And last but not least a “Welcome to the World” postcard on which one can write a personalized greeting. This meloom Baby Gift Set makes for a wonderful gift. It comes in a shoebox-sized box with some baby and stork decorations on the front flap. My set did not have the box filling as in the pictures on the product page. I like curated boxes like this, as it is super easy and takes the guesswork out of gift shopping. Plus, you know the family you give this to will at least like a couple of the items included, if not all. I think this is a great set, but it does come with a couple of caveats. The dark grey color, while maybe leaning a bit more masculine, can be considered unisex. I think the onesie especially looks beautiful, but it can only be washed on cold, which can be challenging for baby clothes that tend to get dirty a lot. I wish there was an insert, as I'm unsure what each item is. For instance, there's a round, wooden piece that says, "hello world". I think that maybe it's a coaster. There's also a little hedgehog-like creature, which I think is made out of some sort of moldable TPU. I think it may be meant for a teething baby to chew on. Unfortunately, the substance it's made out of attracts dirt like crazy. I just put it on my shirt while taking the other pieces out of the box and it attracted a bunch of lint and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get it to come off with my fingers. It just made it worse. So, I wouldn't give that piece to a baby knowing it will end up in their mouths. The bunny plush is cute, but the left leg is half an inch longer than the right leg. I'm sure the baby won't mind. The muslin swaddle is very thin, so it's definitely meant for the warmer months of the year. If you are looking for an easy gift for a family that is about to expand, then this is a solid choice. Read more

I ordered this as a baby gift and I had no idea that it was going to be such a wonderful baby set! The baby sweater that is included is absolutely perfect! The fabric is incredibly soft and it is so well made. The little gray moccasins with fringe are just too cute! The design and color is so cute and trendy without being too fussy. The baby rattle and teething piece are made of natural materials that are perfect for baby. The blanket and mobile ornament are just beautiful and I love the neutral and natural colors. The best part is the small teddy bear made out of the softest waffle weave blanket like material. Just perfect for a brand new little person to hold and love on. These are quite beautiful but both the blanket and knit bunny had loose threads, the hedgehog teether is already getting dirty and not sure what it is made of, the faux moccasins are not supportive for walking especially an early walker, the wooden rattle has some abrasive edges on one rounded end and the dangling rainbow is loosing threads on it's fringed bottom. These items would be absolutely lovely as decorative pieces in a nursery but I don't think I would trust them as functional for baby unless under close supervision. Read more

This was a really cute present for any new mom. The clothes are all gender neutral and the toys are cute. The blanket is great and it's my nibbling's favorite thing. They love the fringe. This is probably one of the best new baby gift packages I have looked at. It has some great things in it and it's just cute. The onesie is super soft too.
