Young Breast cancer survivor & hysterectomy w/ obo

As a young cancer survivor (under 45 years old is the definition for this), I thought I’d live my life without sexual health (having to use messy lubrication) live with a weird odor and this most awkward uncomfortable feeling that was sometimes painful even. Let’s add that to the rest of the early surgical onset menopause (freaking ridiculous!) since I had a full hysterectomy and both ovary removed (in order to take hormone suppression medication for BC) and all the ongoing breast cancer treatments. Wow. Just wow! Membrasin worked! Took away dryness and odor and provided me with my own natural lubricant that a young woman should have. If you want additional details read on, if this is enough just let me add, take this for 2 months for full results and continue it daily. My scenario detailed for those with more questions: I thought that I’d be my whole life with this odd feeling that maybe my stitches where falling or my insides were drooping. Not to be too descriptive, but like a tampon that was slipping down perhaps. My gynecology oncologist told me that what I was feeling is normal, dryness due to hysterectomy with ovary removal due to cancer - normal they said! Well it was so awful, irritating and even had an odd odor (again told that was normal) I found membrasin. And for someone who doesn’t write reviews often, let me write this for anyone else who may have these odd questions or feelings (and odor) and believe it is normal. I’d been dealing with this feeling for 6 months. I’d tried KY that you insert and hold- this was just a mess that led me to buying pantyliners and thin feminine pads (which I notably threw away with flourish post hysterectomy!) I tried the various creams to rub externally - nope that failed. Was I destined to feel like what was left of my insides was about to fall down and out?? This odd smell, what was it?? Did the doctor leave some cotton inside me? Uhhh the odd and random thoughts. The desperation that my sexual health was gone. Estrogen supplements were out if the question as I’m a breast cancer patient (then a patient now a survivor!) So I found membrasin, I looked at it over and over, expensive and not many reviews back then June 2018. I took the plunge. I bought it. I preloaded when I got these and took 4 daily for 4 days, and then completed the package - the odd feeling went away, at this point I was even able to have intimate relations with my hubby without a whole lot of preamble to “make” it work. Ordered the second box, and completed that one - nows the wow factor... not only did the weird feeling stay away, the odd odor that was appearing was gone. And <drumroll> I was able to have fun with my hubby and my own body responding with lubricant!! Ever the skeptic.... I’m now 18 months into taking this, do I still need it? So I stopped it. Yup - I sure did, it’s expensive and I’m feeling great, certainly I don’t need it any more. Well, let me just say, I’m 3-4 weeks off membrasin, just ordered two boxes, paying overnight shipping fees and writing this review. I have the uncomfortable feeling, the weird odor is back and last night I had to pause to go find a lubricant. So does this stuff work, umm yes!!! And I can say I’m a skeptic and even with proven results, I was still a skeptic and had to prove the validity to myself again. I’m a solid believer and can’t wait for that Amazon box to arrive tomorrow! Read more

WONDERFUL PRODUCT

Women, if you have had a complete hysterectomy like I have and have issues with thinning of the tissue in your labia area, this cream really works. I also use the Membrasin Supplements and have been using for a little over 2 months now. I wanted to wait at least 2 months to write a review, but I noticed marked improvement in less than a week. At the end of one month I feel like my private parts are like they were when I was in my twenties and thirties! I'm 59 years old and had a complete hysterectomy at the age of 37. Wish I knew about these products back when I was 37!!!!!! I can't believe how my body feels, and neither can my fiance. I know some other reviews have mentioned the cost. I know for me (and my fiance) the cost is worth cutting back on other things if you need to for financial reasons, but for the mental and emotional well-being it has brought to our lives, it is totally worth it. A game changer for us.

This supplement was a magical fix to my feminine issue - dryness postmenopausal became the reality. After using it for a week, I noticed a drastic difference in the moisturization. A result I did not anticipate and I am very happy with it. I will continue using this product and highly recommend it to anyone experiencing dryness issues. Read more

So far it's working pretty well, but...

I recommend this product. Pros 1. Each package is a one month supply, so that's decent for the price so far. 2. Two soft gel pills a day and I'm done. 3. They do eliminate vaginal dryness due to menopause and they maintain natural lubrication from the inside out--ALL DAY. Consider the other less attractive options we have as women, estrogen cream, oil based creams or oil based suppositories. The over-the-counter creams and suppositories might need to be reapplied several times during the day and they soil underwear. It's messy to say the least. Estrogen replacement therapy cream has side effects I don't want. The OTC creams have palm oil that was almost always grown on land that used to be rainforests. Potential Cons--and they are not minor 1. Has the company, Membrasin Life Sciences, filtered out heavy metals from their supplements? I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I don't believe any company is deliberately out to harm anyone, but they can be guilty of low standards which can be harmful; let's face it, unless they're forced to filter out heavey metals they won't out of a preference to save money. The supplement industry is totally unregulated and with rare exception, they choose NOT to regulate themselves, unless they get sued. Heavy metals like cadmium, lead, and mercury can end up in any supplement and be consumed at slowly harmful levels if they aren't filtered out. Once they build in the body they can to lead to cancer, fatty liver disease and lots more. For Calfiornians, proposition 65 is our protection, so I submitted this product's name for review, to a local nonprofit that tests for heavy metals in any supplement submitted by a resident of California, FOR FREE. I will update my review if I find out there are heavy metals in membrasin. I'm hoping there aren't any. 2. As a woman ages, the absenece of estrogen can take its toll. So I'm not sure how effective Membrasin will be for me ten years from now. Will I need to consume more to keep up with aging? June 5, 2018 My Response to Membrasin's Reply: Thank you for taking the time to read my review and compose a fairly detailed reply. I was hoping my research would corroborate your conclusion that the FDA regulates the supplement industry. Unfortunately, it still doesn't. The FDA says, on their website at fda.gov the following: "That means that these firms are responsible for evaluating the safety and labeling of their products before marketing to ensure that they meet all the requirements of DSHEA and FDA regulations." Firms evaluate their own supplement product and it's up to the consumer to report non-compliant firms. Read more
