The other reviews that I read are certainly correct. The shoe smells terribly of cigarette smoke. I thought by airing it out that would help but no. The quality is good for the price and they fit true to size. Comfortable. I subtracted a star for the smell. I almost regret not sending them back because the cigarette smell is so strong. Update - can’t get rid of the smoke smell regardless of what sprays / shoe deodorizers I try. Not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re not bothered by strong smoke smell. So gorgeous that I immediately ordered a second pair as they were the last ones they had in my size. I love Chelsea boots, but when you're a size 11, most shoes are wide-width, while I need a narrow fit. These fit me perfectly! And unlike other common styles out there, the shiny patent leather and extra patterns stitched on top and to the sides give these booties that extra touch of classiness and style. I didn't even need to open the lid to be hit in the face with cigarette smell. It was overwhelming. Holy crap. The threads all over are picked at, there's something weird and sticky on the top, and there are scuffs all over. No wonder these were on sales. They are used and super gross. What a disappointment. Now, if you do want to take the chance, these fit a little larger. Barely large. As in, I am a 9 wide, and purchased a 9. They fit comfortably, if a smidge long. I mean a smidge. I can wear thicker socks if I want, but can also wear normal socks and they don't flop around. The top fits snug. I purchased these to wear with Stormtrooper armor, and they will work, once painted, for 501st approval. I would give these 5 stars if it weren't for the disgusting smell and gross sticky bits n scuffs since the boots themselves are as described and fit appropriately. Read more

I bought these boots in both brown and black. These are great boots! Well made, nice looking and well fitting. The only downside is the elastic is rather tight at first and getting them on the first few times was rather hard. I found using a boot hook in the back loop to be really helpful. As I rode for almost 60 years, I learned the advantages of boothooks almost that many years ago. Read more
