seems to work as expected. remote buttons are crowded and comprehensive...be nice if remote was bigger but for the great price not a big deal. came with a card that says "activate your free warranty now and win" and has a qr code. doesn't say what you win (a warranty that should come with the item?) or if no warranty is honored if you don't register within 7 days of receiving the item. tried to reach memorex online on pc to register there but site has no result for "dvd player" or "warranty" search. have not tried phone or email support yet. Looks Refurbished, HDMI cord not included
Product looks refurbished and not new, they don't even include a HDMI cable. The DVD player was defective and does not work. It constantly stops and freezes. This item is a rip off/scam and should not be sold on Amazon. Read more

You get what you pay for
This is not a good DVD player. It says it's 1080, but that's not true. It may read 1080, but does not produce 1080 images. It has a weird quirk where the default is subtitles on, so that needs to be turned of every time I use it. That's the bad. The good....it was super cheap! I got what I paid for. It works.
