As expected it took 24 hours to poof up out of the vacuum pack, pillows are slightly smelly at first and take a few days to tolerate. I chose not to fluff them in the dryer as this will increase the size of the pillow. The great option is there is a zipper to remove some filling if you need a flatter pillow. These pillows are super firm but super soft and they get right around your neck so that you're perfectly comfortable all night. There was a mix-up in my order and I got two very tiny pillows. I let them know and they immediately sent me the two queen pillows I ordered and told me to donate the smaller pillows to someone else in need so I did. I bought my first bamboo pillow in 2017. Before then, I was always someone who bought a new cheap pillow every year. My bamboo pillow lasted me until this year.
