Pillow comes with zip off cover. The cover is soft and appears to be quality sewn. The zipper is small, but of decent quality. The cover is still in the same condition after washing, a true test to the quality! The pillow took about 24 hours to fully expand after arriving in a vacuum sealed bag. However, when it finally expanded, it was exactly what I was looking for. I have used it as back and bottom support for my work chair (to support a weak spine). My cats occasionally steal the pillow, in lieu of their normal expensive, high-quality beds (a true testament to the comfort) - so I will definitely be purchasing another one in the near future. Only negative - I don't think this pillow would be enough support for my head for sleeping. It provides enough back support for sitting, but I would prefer a slightly firmer memory foam for sleeping - this likely chalks up to personal preference. I've been using this pillow for three nights now. My impressions: First, when the box was delivered, I thought, "What did I order that fits into such a small box?" Then I remembered how compact things like memory foam mattresses are. Once opened, the pillow expanded to its full size in about an hour. The problem I've had in the past: I don't fall into one of those easy categories: "Are you a side-sleeper?" "Sleep on your back?" "Do you sleep on your belly?" Over the course of the night, I turn many times, and I can answer YES to all three positions. So a pillow that worked great for side-sleeping got uncomfortable when I changed positions. After three nights of use, I "get" the memory foam benefits: BOTH my neck and head are now firmly supported, REGARDLESS of the position I'm in. The pillow adapts to the position I'm in, and provides just the right support, and it does it instantly. The proof is in the trying: Since I've used this pillow, I wake up much less during the night. As someone who has trouble falling back asleep, this is a godsend. I would buy this pillow again even if I remained lying in one position the entire night. But for someone like me, who tosses around a lot, it's a no-brainer. I wish I tried it sooner! Read more
I've always had neck problems, it got especially bad after we moved into a new place without furniture and I slept on a temporary bed for a while, my neck got really stiff and I couldn't sleep for days. Tried this pillow and after the first night I already noticed a big improvement! After a few days the pain was completely gone. So, I love it! My only issue is that I sometimes find it a bit hard to get completely comfortable on it, but since I always wake up with a neck that feels good now, I think the pillow is what I need and I just have to get used to how it feels. By the way, it IS comfy and soft, it's just something about it that sometimes bother me, not sure exactly what it is. Read more

I almost don’t know what to say other than GET THIS PILLOW! I’m a side sleeper, stomach sleeper, toss and turner if the weather is hot and I live and breath being outdoors and playing sports. So I constantly wake up with neck pain, stiff neck, or the pain switches from side to side so I almost never have a pain free neck or shoulder area. But this pillow did change that. One side has a taller curve and the other side has a shorter curve. When I sleep on my side, I find that the taller curve supports my neck and spine without tension. When I sleep in my stomach, I flip the pillow so that My neck is turned to one side or the other and resting in the shorter curve. My neck and shoulder blade area feels much much better. The stretching that I find I still need to do seems to be coming from living actively whereas before it was compounded with pain from sleeping without the proper support! I’ll also add that I replaced my mattress 2 years ago and felt relief the first few months and then since then I’ve been tossing money into so many different types of pillows that have not worked. The silver lining is that all of those pillows look nice on the bed but get tossed to the side at night because this one is all I need. At least for now. Read more
For those of you who have neck problems or wake up with a headache every morning, please read this. I will keep this short and to the point. My cervical discs are out of alignment and I was experiencing headaches every morning. Sometimes it was a combination of neck pain, a hot head and headaches. My doctor is clueless in how to fix it. I have tried a multitude of pillows and then I tried this one. The first week, I experienced some ear pain where my ear contacted the pillow when I laid on my side. I was still willing to give this pillow a fair try since I noticed some improvement. In time, the ear pain went away and my headaches subsided significantly. I still experience a headache, but it is nowhere near what it was before. I am also able to sleep through the night! In short, I recommend this pillow. When you receive this pillow, I recommend letting it air out for a day prior to using. I know that this pillow will not satisfy everyone…I am sharing what worked for me.
