I sit a lot for work and also had hip pain that made driving for more than 30 minutes pretty uncomfortable. I've tried several seat cushions that work for a while but don't provide long term relief. A huge upgrade in comfort, but be warned: this cushion is THICK when you first sit down. The initial height is the main problem. Even with my office chair lowered all the way, I could not comfortably fit my legs under my desk at first. It takes about 5-10 minutes of sitting for my weight and body heat to compact the memory foam enough to clear the desk. If you are a lighter individual, I genuinely don't know if you'll get enough compression to fit comfortably, which is a potential design flaw. It takes some time for it to return to that thickness, so short trips away from my desk, or a few minutes of standing don't present the same issue. I do wish the cushion was wider. For reference, I believe I have an average-sized male frame, and the cushion just barely fits under me from side-to-side. I suspect this cushion would be too narrow for anyone with a wider frame. Overall, this is excellent for the price, for me, once it compresses, but the height and width might make it a poor fit for some users. Read more

As you can see by my product photos I've been putting off buying a new computer chair for some time now. Well that's finally catching up to me. I broke my C1 in a car accident years ago and the thought of assembling a computer chair is rather daunting to me. I'll have to bite the bullet soon. Recently I've acquired a new pain I've never had before. it's pain in my coccyx. I figured I'd get a cheap cushion for now until I buy my new computer chair. I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. The price was under 20$(some of these cushions are like 50$+ I saw one for like 75$ wow!) it has relieved my coccyx pain altogether and the firmness is very fair (I weigh 215lbs), the grip really works so it doesn't slide off the chair. It does squish down a bit after a few hours, but I am so happy about the purchase considering the price. I'll definitely use it even when I get a new computer chair. I have a deteriorating hip condition so lately sitting has become very painful and I needed relief. After a 12 hour day of work at my desk, I can say this really did significantly help with my hip/back pain. However, my legs did go a little numb from the circulation being cut off, which is why 4 stars instead of 5. I'm about 135lbs, mid-thirties, with good blood circulation but a few times during the day I had to adjust or wiggle my legs because the pad only goes about midway down the thigh and cuts off blood circulation. I love the hole in the middle, that's nice for letting loose a few farts now and then too lol Unfortunately I only got to test it while sitting on it, because the moment I got up from my desk my cats were practically fighting over it.
