After trying 3 others, I think this pillow is the keeper! Pros: I like the innovative dent in the middle. It cradles my head comfortably. I think it also helps with neck pain. I've tried other contour pillows but they've given me neck pain because they're either too high or too firm. Upon first laying my head on This pillow, I could immediately tell that it wasn't as hard as the others but it still had a nice firmness. I find that I'm in the same position in the morning...no tossing in sleep or pillow ending up in weird positions. Cons: It's slippery. My pillowcase keeps sliding off. Pillow can easily squeeze out from under my neck. It wants to slide off bed. It gets hot. Sometimes I wake up with damp face and hair. Sometimes I get ear pain...pressure sores...maybe because it's a little too firm...maybe because I'm not tossing/turning. All in all, a good quality pillow and at a great price point. It's made well. There is a hard button in the middle but it won't even be noticeable/touched. The zipper head hangs out but it is smooth and small. I really wanted to love this pillow. It is the perfect firmness and shape with a washable cover. I fell asleep much more comfortably and supprted HOWEVER, I aired this pillow out for days and washed the cover multiple times. No matter what I did, I couldn't get rid of the awful chemical fumes it emits. No I'm not being dramatic. I wake up with eye, throat, and lung irritation every time I use it. Without it, the symptoms disappear. I've tried to make it work but the chemical is embedded in the foam. Maybe I got a bad/faulty pillow that wasn't properly treated? I don't understand but I cannot recommend this. I've never had a reaction like this to anything else before. Read more
