I found the Mengico oil rubbed bronze door handles to be of excellent quality and appearance. There's the hint of the lighter metal shade, not overly dark, and they match oil-rubbed bronze handles I've ordered in other brands. The style of the rounded downward bend of the handle is exactly what I like because it's easier to open a door when my hands are full. Functionally these work as they should with a smooth downward motion. Installation was no problem since I was replacing an existing doorknob and was able to use the previously drilled hole. Everything about this door handle was high-quality... smoothness of the metal, color, mechanism, etc. I would order them again. Read more
This handle set came with everything needed for installation, including a template which made the process very straightforward. My husband was able to install it easily without any issues. The handle itself looks nice and feels sturdy, but the satin finish isn’t completely even - some areas are more reflective than others. It’s not a dealbreaker for me since the imperfections are subtle, but if you’re planning to replace handles throughout your home, I’d recommend checking the quality first to make sure the finish is consistent. Lock works and the handle functions flawlessly. Overall, it works well and I’m satisfied. Read more
I recently installed one of these satin nickel door handles, and it was incredibly easy to do. I replaced a traditional doorknob with a door handle, which is much more suitable for me and many others who experience weakness in their hands. I didn't need to drill any new holes; I used the existing hole, and the handle fit perfectly. The quality of this handle is excellent, and it can be installed for both left and right sides. It functions well and looks great. I have now replaced all my doorknobs with these door handles, and I highly recommend them, especially for anyone experiencing hand pain or weakness. This is a fantastic alternative to traditional doorknobs. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This set of door levers falls short in a few key areas. The most immediate issue was the complete lack of instructions. While installing a door lever is generally straightforward, there were two extra pieces in the box that I couldn’t identify, and some guidance would have been helpful. The lock itself functions as expected, but the handle edges, while not sharp, feel somewhat harsh in hand—just enough to make them less comfortable than they should be. The back side of the wall plate, however, does have genuinely sharp edges that could easily cause a cut if handled carelessly. On top of that, the screw hole divots are too large, preventing the plate from sitting flush against the door frame, which is both an aesthetic and functional issue. I’ve included photos demonstrating this. The lever has a hole where a set screw would typically allow for reversing between left- and right-handed use, but no set screw was there, and I couldn't find a way to actually reverse them. Once again, instructions might have helped here. At the time of review, a two-pack is priced at $30, which is slightly below average, but the performance feels below average as well. I’d recommend spending a little more on a set with smoother edges, true reversibility, and better overall refinement. Read more
This door handle was a breeze to install. I haven’t yet chiseled out the latch plate—mainly because it’s a pain and all the original doorknobs in my house had little metal rings around the latch. This handle turns smoothly and has a very solid feel. The lock does function, but unlocking it from the other side requires nothing more than a coin or flathead screwdriver. As you’ll see in one of my pictures, it looks like part of the locking mechanism didn’t get painted fully and if it were a completely contrasting color underneath the paint, it wouldn’t be a big deal. Even though it’s such a small area, it’s pretty noticeable. I think the price for one of them is a little steep, but ordering multiple will definitely save you money. Read more
These are a black matte finish, just what I needed. So many have the glossy finish so I was looking specifically for this. It's fairly heavy so it's not going to break. It has strong metal parts and looks just as pictured. I won't have it on my actual door until Spring when I can paint the door first, but you have to get it when you see it. I will likely buy more once I update more rooms. Read more
