I love these pants but my family makes fun of them, LOL. I'm not sure what the origin of the style is but seems middle eastern. I'm not going to model them, but they fit well around the waist and ankles. I like that that waist is wide and with the elastic you don't really need the draw string. I've been looking to grab the at home comfy clothes and haven't found very many to my liking. I came across these and figured they would be perfect being linen. Here in the South Spring and Summer are pretty much one season. The only separation is how much rain one gets versus the other. I always assumed linen was a light weight material leading me to believe these would be just what I wanted. Well, the material is linen and it is cotton. It is a bit heavy though. I would say it is definitely a bit above tee shirt weight. It's right around a decent undershirt. It doesn't breathe very well. They are very comfortable. I've thoroughly enjoyed every wear. The fit is a bit odd for me. I typically wear a 42/44 waist and a 34 inseam. The largest waist was a 42 and it is dead on. The waist band is large and does have a tie that I have rarely used. The length, for me, is a bit short. Sitting or standing the bottom taper/cuff stops just above or right at my ankle. My stride is long and the pants leg slides up at least an inch and a half. I'm not bothered by this around the house. When I go out to check the mail or something is when I do think about it. Minus the heavier cloth weight. I have to say these are great and perfect to sit back and put your feet up in. Read more
