I love the reinforced knees with extra material lining the knee area because we all know how slacks get baggy knees quickly. The fit is very comfortable and the quality looks and feels very good. That said, I am trying all the slacks on Amazon to find that golden goose egg that no one makes in an affordable slacks/ dress pant. These have been the closest I have found and I ordered a 31 waste even though I usually wear a 30 because I seek the classic drape that suit pants USED to have. I prefer what I feel is an elegant, professional look rather than the tight stretch leotard modern slacks all try so hard to achieve. And most slacks made tday are super tapered making dress shoes look juvenile and silly in my opinion. The pants should drape nicely over a dress shoe with some room to spare. I always chuckle when some young man shows up for an interview wearing the leotards, making his dress shoes look out of proportion almost like clown shoes. Don't get me wrong I'm not the guy conducting the interviews, I work in a supermarket and my dress clothes are for religious meetings and holidays. These pants are much closer to what I prefer but order up a size and wear suspenders if you can tolerate that, if you also seek that look. You can adjust the suspenders so the pants drape perfectly over a nice loafer. And yes the clothes make the man. They can separate you from the newbie juvenile looking fellas for sure. Read more

I don’t have any standing photos but my son wore these slacks to a wedding this weekend. They are generous in the waist and seat and I do wish I had sized down for him. That said, with a belt in place they worked and looked nice. They were a nice length for my tall, lanky kid. Read more

I purchased these pants for my son and they look very nice on him. He has a thin waist and very long legs and a short torso. It is hard to find pants that fit his length and waist. These pants fit him well. With the side elastic panels on the waist, it does not gap in the back nor does it bind in the crotch when he sits.
