This is a great electric shaver. It holds a long charge. It looks very similar to my previous name brand shaver. I have had it for a few months now and it does an excellent job in shaving. I’m very happy with my purchase of this shaver. It’s power when shaving is equal to name brand shavers, I notice no difference. I like the charge indicator, it’s large enough to see with no viewing issues. I saw some reviews complaining about it not holding a charge, the one I received holds a charge for a long time. I’m very happy with the shaver that I received. Read more
I've used Norelc* shavers for decades, after trying other brands and other designs, so I'm a fan of this form factor. You know immediately when you look at the MAX-T that it's another Norelc* clone, whose original design is considered by many to be the closest thing to the ideal shaver. And since patents have long ago expired, lots of manufacturers have copied it. Being a direct clone, it operates exactly as the original does. I currently have a half-dozen shavers of this design, most of them older Norelc*s that have developed issues after years of use, but I also have three shavers that are still in working order but have dull blades. So I went shopping for a new one and found the MAX-T. Given its attractive price and good reviews, I decided to give it a try. It seems to shave as well as any I have. Likes: - It's well-made - It has double-row cutters, as opposed to single-row like many lower-cost shavers - It is washable and wet/dry capable, so it's easy to clean - The big bright battery remaining percentage is great to have - It can be used while charging, important when the battery runs out in the middle of a shave - The charging cord includes the "brick", so you don't have to go find one to charge it - It's ergonomically shaped, so it fits the hand nicely - It comes with a drawstring "sock" for travel - Nice pop-up trimmer for sideburns, beards or mustaches - It shaves as close as can be expected of an electric Dislikes: - Nothing significant so far, except that battery consumption seems high at about 15% per shave Rating: - I like the shaver, but I can't bring myself to give it the full 5 stars. It's still a copy of a successful design at a much lower price, and I can't help but view it as a lesser-quality product that won't last as long as the original it's based on. I hope I'm wrong, but until I'm proven to be I'll give it 4 stars. In the meantime, based on my short time with it and its attractive price, I will still recommend it. Read more
Great razor, in the hospital for about two weeks. Had a heavy beard, because of now taking blood thinners they did not want me shaving with a razor. I was looking for a replacement for my old norelco. This razor supreceeded my expectations and tackle my tough beard without a hitch. And the pop up trimmer works very well on my mustache. The price for what you are getting is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to others. Read more
MAX-T 3D Rotary corded & cordless Shaver Razor is one of the best razors I've owned especially at this price point at time of purchase of $46.00. I gave this 4.7 stars since you can't do this with the current rating system. The good the bad and break down as follows: 1. Looks = Excellent 2. Size = Excellent 3. Weight = Excellent 4. Easy to hold/handle = Excellent 5. Easy to Clean = Excellent 6. Battery Life = Exceptional 7. Power = Excellent 8. Trimmer = Exceptional 9. Display = Excellent 10. Versatility/wet/dry = Excellent 11. Cutting/Closeness/Quickness = 4.7. I would have given an over all of 5+ stars and an Exceptional rating except that in my opinion this ironically as shown above and last could shave a bit closer with fewer passes. Confusing because the power and speed at which the blades revolve seem fast & powerful enough so I'm thinking it could be the thickness of foil over laying the blade heads? Don't get me wrong it shaves pretty close and if your not used to an electric this can and will give you razor burn. You can get a closer shave if you spend a bit more time with shorter strokes and or perhaps with shave cream. That's the relatively minor negative about this shaver. I have gotten closer shaves with less strokes from an Norelco I owned in the past but that was about 4 times the price and even at 4 times the price it didn't match this one on every other level! The real stand outs as reflected in the above score is the capacity & trimmer. I have never had a shaver with a trimmer that cuts as well as this one! I have been using this shaver for about 3 weeks on the charged state it came and I am still at 20% as of this review. Amazing! The only unknowns at this point are how long will a recharge take and how long will this shaver and it's shave hold up? All in all I would recommend and I would buy it again. Hopefully they can work on that closeness of shave factor in the mean time ;) Read more
