Elasticity is most likely the same as elastine or spandex which are different names for the same thing. The material will provide some UV protection. These materials are durable and stain resistant. They are suitable for playing golf comfortably. Five pockets with two back pockets with snap closures. Two front pockets with a third zippered pocket suitable for a phone, keys, or golf paraphernalia. I would prefer larger front pockets but these are fine. The size is true to size with some stretch to fit the larger person and the activity. There is a seam across the leg for style only.
