I ordered these Men's Gurkha Casual Dress Pants Classic Fit khaki pants for my husband, who likes the Gurkha style wide waistband, which can be difficult to find. These pants are a blend of 80% polyester/20% viscose; the fabric is lightweight and my husband found it breathed quite well for a polyester blend. I ordered the pants in beige; the color is lighter than the pale khaki color shown in the sales photos. I would say the beige color is more like a pale champagne or cream; it’s an attractive color, but maybe a bit light for my husband’s everyday wear. He can bit a bit hard on clothing, so he said he may save these for church and dress occasions, since the light, creamy color is more likely to show stains than a khaki. My husband really liked the Gurkha style waistband and belt; he’s worn this style for many years, but it’s difficult to find outside of pricy menswear stores. These pants are attractive and the wide waistband, buckles, and pleats give them an old school, vintage look. They’re well cut for an inexpensive pair of men’s pants, and the styling gives them a more upscale look than the polyester fabric would suggest. I ordered these in my husband’s usual size of 34” x 30”; he said they fit well, so I would say these fit true to size. The pants were fairly wrinkled upon arrival, but a few minutes with my hand steamer and they looked great. At the current price ($29.99) I would say this is a nice deal on an inexpensive pair of men’s dress pants. The pleating, wide waistband, waist buckles, and cuffs are all style notes I see more commonly on high end men’s pants, so it’s nice to find a pair with this styling for under $30. My husband loves pleated pants, which can be difficult to find outside a golf pro shop; he also loves the Gurkha style waistband, so it’s great to find both in one pair of pants. These come in a wide range of colors; my husband has been thinking about investing in a couple other pairs. He has his eye on the black and grey pairs, which would be better suited to daily wear since they’re dark colors. These inexpensive pants can be dressed up with a coat and tie, or worn more casually with a polo short or button down. The pleats and cuffs give the pants a vintage look, whether you’re thinking of a 1920s or a 1980s look. Read more
