I have a couple of issues with the robe, nothing major as it won't be a negative for everyone. - The robe has a pretty strong chemical smell coming off of it out of the bag. I understand it's a "cost effective" clothing item and it is made from synthetic fabrics, but the smell was a bit strong. Minor issue, but make sure you air it out well in advance. - I would say the robe is not "american sized" and I don't mean it isn't made for plus sized people. The robe can accommodate a larger individual I'm sure, but I am tall with very broad shoulders and the arms don't do well for me. If I try to reach forward, the sleeves catch and constrict on my biceps. I think the robe was designed for a smaller sized people. I hope that doesn't sound offensive, but Americans generally are larger than a few other cultures when it comes to height (and width lol). Overall though, I think I can work something out for the sleeves, and I do really like the robe overall. It feels fine, not scratchy or itchy. I like how deep the hood is. I think sometimes costumes don't give you a hood that can really cover your face if you're going for a "reaper" aesthetic or just any aesthetic where you want to conceal your head and make it look like a void in there. This costume does well with that! Sleeves are a good length for me, and the robe bottom also extends far enough. Pretty happy with that. If you're rather short, it might need hemming. I think the robe is comfortable, and well priced. A good choice for a costume or cosplay! Read more

I was hoping for more of a Sith Lord vibe, but this landed closer to high school graduate in exile. The material feels very similar to a cap and gown, which is not exactly premium, but also not shocking at this price. It fit fine on my 6 ft frame, so sizing was okay for me, and it does technically deliver the basic black cloak look from a distance. That said, it absolutely needs to be steamed before use. Straight out of the package, it has the kind of wrinkles that make it look less "mysterious figure of darkness" and more "just escaped a shipping bag." I also do not know that I would trust it in the wash, so I would go into this assuming it is more of a wear-it-once kind of costume piece than something built for repeat duty. For the price, I cannot be too mad at it. Just keep expectations realistic. This is a one-and-done costume cloak, not a dramatic wardrobe investment. Read more

I bought the Mens Halloween Cosplay Hooded Cloak Cape for a costume event and it looks fantastic in person. The hooded design and flowing silhouette really capture the witch cosplay vibe and it works well for Halloween, themed parties, or stage performances. The soft luster of the uniform ni fabric gives it a subtle shine that makes it stand out without looking cheap. The cloak is comfortable to wear and feels hygienic, and the range of sizes from S to XXXXL makes it easy to find a fit. It’s lightweight, which makes moving around easy during events, and it drapes nicely for photos and performances. My only concern is that the material seems a bit thin, so I’m not entirely sure how it will hold up over time with repeated use. For the price though it’s hard to beat, and it’s perfect if you want a striking costume look without spending a lot. Overall, it’s a visually impressive cloak that hits all the style points and works well for parties, cosplay, and performances. Just be mindful that the quality feels on the lighter side compared to more expensive alternatives. Read more

While this fit true to size, simply reaching up towards my head/shoulders to grab the hood caused the seam down my spine to split. I wore the robe for no more than 30 seconds before the seam ripped from my shoulder blades down to my waist. This is not built to be worn, and will last under a minute from putting it on. You could potentially use this as a prop for a single photoshoot; but this robe will not hold up if you intend to wear it as a costume. If you opt to use this as a photoshoot prop costume, you may want to have someone else lift the hood over your head. I have managed to close the hole with a sewing kit; but do not have the time or skill to reinforce all the seams across this robe to make it wearable. This was intended to be part of my costume at a party; but now it'll just be set on a scarecrow as a decoration. Read more

This men’s Halloween carnival/witch cosplay cloak worked pretty well for what I needed, and it definitely gives the right dramatic look for a costume. The material is on the thinner side, which I expected for a costume piece at this price, and it still drapes nicely over regular clothes. It’s lightweight and comfortable enough to wear for a party or event without getting too hot. That said, the workmanship is a little lacking in some areas, especially with the seams and finishing. It’s fine from a distance, but up close you can see a few rough spots and loose threads, which I’ve shown in the photos I included for reference. Overall, it does the job and looks good for Halloween or cosplay, but it’s not a high-end cloak, so just keep that in mind when you’re buying. Read more

This does look as pictured but the proportions are mainly for people sized like the model. I am 6ft and around 225lbs and its is a little big/long but in the chest area there isnt much room, so the ties are for show. The hood also might be too large for some. It is the typical feel of polyester. Decent quality. For $12 its a decent value if you need a costume piece like this and can possibly tailor. Read more
