I'm a long distance hiker, and these pants are fantastic. A little thinner than some, but I like hot so these are perfect. I'm 6'5 and typically wear 34-36. These are cut smaller in the waist, so for these I wear a 36-36. Very well made and a great value! Read more

The material is lightweight and breathable — no crinkly stiffness. The generous pockets with quick dry mesh lining are excellent, and the waistband has two elastic strips that each stretch an additional 4 inches. The diamond gusset with mesh ventilation is a thoughtful design touch, yet it doesn’t seem to add enough depth to relieve the tightness in the rise. As a result, even though the waist and thighs fit well, the front fly and seat feel are very tight and compressed. This snugness makes the fit noticeably restrictive in those regions. I really love the overall design and features of these pants, but the extreme tightness in the front fly and seat prevents me from wearing them comfortably. I’m unsure if sizing up would solve the issue, since the waist and thighs already fit perfectly. I am 5’10”, weigh 205 lbs, have a 35” waist and I usually wear a 34x30 or 35x30. Read more

I was looking for a pair of pants that could handle a little bit of everything without feeling stiff or heavy, and these hit the mark. The fabric is light and has just enough stretch to move with you, so whether you are bending down or stepping over something, nothing feels tight or restrictive. They are also really breathable, which is nice if you are moving around a lot. I like that they are water resistant too. A little morning dew or a quick splash does not soak through, and if they do get dirty, they dry off so fast you barely have to think about it. The pockets are honestly perfect. There are six of them, and they are all placed in a way that makes sense. The cargo pockets sit flat when empty but have plenty of room when you need to carry something like a phone, a tool, or just everyday stuff. Nothing bulges out awkwardly. The material feels tough enough to hold up to regular wear without looking bulky or making that swishy noise some outdoor pants have.
