Great, comfortable, lightweight, well made

Fits well. Lightweight nylon fabric is wonderful in hot humid weather. Really like having zippered cargo pockets instead of the usual Velcro flap used by many competitors. I would prefer that the cargo pockets had a horizontal opening instead of the vertical opening, but otherwise very happy. Planning on getting another pair in a different color. Read more

Favorite light-weight hiking pants on initial review and us!

Light-Wt Hiking Pants comparison I wear a 32Wx32L and tried either that specific size or alternatively if US sizes not offered then the best estimate between medium and large options. I tried 5 different pairs for comparison. The scores are on first assessment and trying them on. Only the 5 Stars were actually worn and kept so will do a follow up rating if there are durability issues. *****Sposulei 32Wx32L—very nice mesh pockets, deeper front pockets, great expanding waist, and gusseted mesh crotch with great ventilation during hot weather. Note the “mesh” is not a material that snags easily. Instead it is a soft fabric with small perforations. Very light airy feel and plenty of room in thighs. Cell phones etc sit fairly lateral in the thigh pockets and are high enough not to bang on thighs when walking. Cons: some loose threads and slightly off target stitching. For some the slightly long legs at around 33” or so would be a problem. For me I prefer slightly long to slightly short. *****Zynorain 32Wx32L— nearly if not identical manufacturer as Sposulei. Very nice mesh pockets, deeper front pockets, great expanding waist, and gusseted mesh crotch with great ventilation. Note the “mesh” is not a material that snags easily. Instead it is a soft fabric with small perforations. Very light airy feel and plenty of room in thighs. Cell phones etc sit fairly lateral on the thigh and are high enough not to bang on thighs when walking. Cons: some loose threads and slightly off target stitching. For some the slightly long legs at around 33” or so would be a problem. For me I prefer slightly long to slightly short. ****Libin 32Wx32L--all zippered pockets, nice fabric, solid front button slide closure seems very rugged, and good fit if you are lender to medium athletic. Cons for me was the single thigh pocket and lack of a second thigh or dedicated cell phone pocket as it wasn’t comfortable for me to carry cell in front pockets. I would have kept if an additional pocket was present. ***Rapoo 32Wx32L--durable feeling fabric and comfortable to wear. Cons for me included front pockets average to slightly shallow, cell phone banged a lot in thigh pockets as they sat right on front of lower thighs, and the front button hole VERY frayed from factory. **Pudolla Medium--durable feeling fabric and not too tight. Cons for me included legs too short at around 31”, cell phone banged a bit on thigh pockets, shallow to average front pockets, the front button hole VERY frayed from factory, and the embroidered brand name was too much. I am not a billboard and would have preferred a small “P” on a back pocket or similar insignia. Read more

Easy movement, lightweight

Bought these to replace carpenter jeans for outdoor work on small farm. Jeans were heavy and restricted movement. So far working out well, have a place for hand tools and stuff I put I in jeans pockets plus I have pockets left over. These are very comfortable, unrestricted movement and very lightweight.
