Fantastic Jacket but you need to order one size larger
This is a fantastic heavy-duty winter coat well suited for hours out in zero-degree weather. I've been looking for a heavy-duty coat for a couple of years now without much success and finally stumbled on this one, and it was like, Finally, Jackpot!! This coat has some weight to it, and you can tell the quality and the amount of insulation and heat retention it provides. It also has a heavy-duty zipper, which is far superior to other brands' cheap zippers, which always fail quickly. I'm not really a fan of the fur around the hood, but it can always be trimmed with scissors as someone else had mentioned. The coat's length is nice and long so it can cover well below the transition from your pants to avoid those otherwise drafty and cold spots caused by minimal jackets. The only downside with the jacket is that its not sized correctly for men. If you are a short, skinny guy, then I guess it may be sized ok, but most men aren't short and super skinny. I typically wear an X-large for winter coats and spring/fall jackets of various brands. For very lightweight jackets, I wear a large, but that's only a few of my jackets. An xlarge in this VOPOKER Jacket can't be zippered up on me and feels more like a Large in Winter jackets. For me, I need the 2xlarge in this VOPOKER which fits exactly the same as all of my Xlarge Winter coats from any other brand. I read one of the reviews that says you need to go two sizes up. That might be true in some circumstances, but let me clarify what that translates to. If you are comparing sizes to a lightweight spring jacket, then you need to go up two sizes. If you are comparing it to any winter jacket of any brand, then you still need to go up one size. If you are a short and very skinny guy then maybe you don't need to go up any sizes. Also, keep in mind that this is a very heavy-duty jacket for cold weather and it has some weight to it. If you're thinking about using this jacket to go out on the town or more for light-duty or lightweight purposes, then this coat is probably not the right choice for you. If you're looking for a ski coat, then I also don't think this is right for you. However, if you want to be outside for hours or all day in zero-degree weather, and you are looking for something heavy-duty, then this is the perfect coat for you. Just pay attention to what I wrote on sizing to avoid multiple returns as I did before finding the right size. Thats why I'm writing this to save others the hassle because you don't want that to deter you from such a good coat. Read more
