Very light windbreaker / raincoat. We went to Ireland last Fall, & I wanted something boring to blend in with the locals. World politics as it is right now, did not want to be an obvious tourist. This did the trick. It was a great outer layer in a windy cold rain. Still a great trip, but I would not recommend going to /Ireland in November / December. Nice. Very light weight and works great. I use it over my regular thin jacket and it helps to keep me warm on cold and windy, rainy days. Easy to wash and dry. It's nice for me because of the elastic on the cuffs, the drawstring on the hood and on the bottom. Only thing I would change is tighter elastic around the waist. Read more

I wanted a simple windbreaker mainly for the rain. I love wearing sweaters, but do not like getting them soaked when it rains. This works perfectly, even able to wear over my sweaters since it is lightweight. Keeps the rain off great. Read more

It's a well made garment and I can see that it would be completely waterproof however the material has a real plastic feel to it and when you move it makes that unwelcome crunchy plastic sound. The sizing is small. So I recommend sizing up. I'm 6 ft 2 in tall and weigh 185 lb and can you usually wear a medium, but the sleeves were way too short and the shoulders too narrow.
