These pants turned out to be much better than we were expecting! My husband has already worn them to a wedding and they looked great. He says they're comfortable and aren't tight or restrictive in any of the places that you wouldn't want pants to be tight or restrictive. They are somewhat stretchy around the waist, but aren't like spandex-type stretchy. The legs aren't fitted, they're definitely more of a loose-leg type of pants, which is fine. The material is super soft and comfortable. They were pretty wrinkly out of the package, but looked really nice after they were washed and pressed! As far as the sizing... My husband is 5'9, 170 lbs and he ordered a large because he likes loose fitting clothes. The pants fit as they should and are true to size. I don't usually go for pleated pants since styles changed and then lost weight and whatnot, but I thought I'd try a pair of these when the offer came up, and frankly they're not bad at all. The fabric is slightly stretchy, and has a nice feel to it, which I wasn't expecting from polyester/elastane, but it's nice, even emulates a sort of cottony feel. Given their weave, they breathe pretty well. They're so light I was hardly conscious of wearing them all day. They're sized in S, M, L, XL and XXL. I'm a smallish 38 or 36L so I tried XL and it fit perfectly. The beltloops and zipper are full size. Pockets are adequate, I'd wish for longer/deeper pockets, maybe with a watch-pocket on the right.
