No foot sliding and supportive

I am diabetic, and also have severe Cardiomyopathy (very weak heart condition), which causes my feet to be cold all the time. I have purchased more slippers than I can imagine here on Amazon. From top of the line name brand to some a lower price points based on reviews, which did not work for me. Yes, there have been “slippers” that kept my feet warm and have enough toe room as well; however, the issues I have encountered have been sliding around inside the slippers. This has caused me to almost trip and/or fall due to lack of support inside because of the fabric and outside of the slippers with no support around the footing. I came across these surprisingly and how I never saw them before is beyond me. Based on reviews and description, I decided to give these a try especially for the price. I have been wearing them without socks and I love how they keep my feet slightly warm. The most important feature is that I am able to walk without the sliding around inside and worrying about tripping and/or falling. The soles inside seem to feel like they mold around your feet especially when walking. Almost like wearing regular shoes but in slipper form. There is no inside “fur” lining or memory foam, just supportive material to make walking easier. So far I have not experienced any foot sweat which is not good for those who are diabetic. I am happy about that. These slippers have a nice design velcro strap to adjust for comfort; the backing is elastic so it makes it easier to slide foot in - even easier if you have to use a shoe horn (I think thats what it is called), or that device that helps you slide your foot into shoes. The quality seems very well made for indoor use. I do not wear them outside; however, the bottoms of the shoe appear to have some traction to them. I haven’t slid on the kitchen floor if that helps at all. How long these slippers will last only time will tell. I have only had them for a few days but gosh - I cannot emphasize enough how good it feels to be able to walk around my house and protect my feet without the worry of sliding around and falling. I plan to buy another pair so that I can rotate them out. The slippers are true to size. I usually wear a size 11 in womens so the womens 11/mens 9 is perfect. I hope the company continues to sell these slippers or possibly look for ways to make further enhancements, but for now - they are wonderful!! On a side note: you may be able to wear thin socks with these, I do not think thick socks will fit very well or may stretch out the elastic in the backing. Inserting feet is pretty easy, may have to use your finger to straighten out the back elastic. I did not find this to be much of an issue considering I love how I can walk without worrying all the time about the sliding and falling. I hope this review helps. I plan to update within a month since I usually wear slippers around the house everyday, all day long. Read more

Works well for my foot neuropathy issues!

I purchased these Walk Hero shoes for my ever-present foot and toe neuropathy (with no apparent reason for it.) Although these are men’s shoes, I regularly purchase men’s as the toe box is wider. Now are they super cute? Not really, but they are plain enough to get away with as a woman, and with my feet issues, aesthetics aren’t even part of the equation anymore! These shoes are quite comfy, and I wore them outside doing chores for several hours. It was only towards the end of the day that my feet started to hurt, but I expect that. I feel more stabilized, as they are a bit lower to the ground-yet still are cushy enough for my tender feet. They are just under $60.00, and absolutely worth it for me, as they feel pretty darn good. So far, they seem durable, and they look & feel like a quality product. I usually wear a women’s 10, and I got the men’s 8.5-and the way I like them to fit (a little roomy) these are perfect. I would highly recommend these, especially if you have any foot issues, as the toe box is nice and wide, they are cushy, and help with balance/stability by being closer to the ground-all of which makes them worth the price! Comfortable, Quality Slipper

I needed to replace my house slippers and decided to try these. They are comfortable and provide better arch support than previous slippers I've had. They are well made and I believe they will last longer than others I've tried. I particularly like that I can use them with the back up (helps them to stay on my feet) or down (easy to slip on/off). I rated them a 4 because they were more expensive than other slipper products and I really need to give it more time to decide if they are worth the price. Read more

Finally, comfortable feet

I’ve bought so many varieties of support slippers, I’d almost given up having comfortable feet. But, after reading the reviews for these slippers I tried one more time. I have, old tired, sensitive feet. These slippers have a wide toe box, arch support and cushioned sole. I like the backs of the slipper fold down for quick slip in without any heel discomfort. The width of the toe box means I can comfortably wear socks for extra warmth. For me, these slippers are the answer. I can wear them all day if needed. They are worth a try. Read more

Mild to no arch support

Comfortable for sure, but I barely feel any support to my arch. Still a nice slipper/house shoe. Not great for helping with arch pain. Read more
