I would rate these 4 and a half stars if I was able to. They are a terrific value! The only thing I would change is adding exterior layer reinforcement over the knees for us saddle hunters! Some type of brush guard material. I'd pay $10 extra for that upgrade! The knee pad location is spot on. So many pants I've tried with knee pads that cinch up and expose the knee cap against the tree when i'm in my saddle, which makes them useless, but not these! Pants feel great, still give it 5 stars even though the knee pads don't really go over your knee to well but at least you can take them out. Also in order to put the knee pads in there is a small insert hole on the inner part of the pants were the knee is took a minute to find it but it's there. Read more

As another review stated size 34x30 has no opening, on the inside or outside, to add the knee pads. The knee pads are very flimsy and thin anyways. My husband’s current work pants have thick knee pads, but the manufacturer has been out of those for a while so we thought we’d try something new. Very disappointed with the quality for the price we paid. All 3 are going back. Read more
Pants seem decent quality, good for work. As, far as knee pads, Pretty slim, could be thicker On pants with proper inseam for me (32) the pads are a little too high, pad pocket should be lower. Also pads skew towards the inside of knee area, wish they remained centered. A 34 inseam may place pads better here though I don't think I'll try as I wore these so wouldn't try to return. Read more

Unfortunately the knee pads are too small for the po ket so the knee pads tend to shift to the left so much that they don't protect the knees. It's also not a great idea that one has to turn the pant leg inside out to insert or remove the knee pads, especially if one is out in the field. The material is also heavier that expected. Read more
The price is fair and seems to be the going rate for pants like these. These are well thought out, pocket layout and other features are not just thrown into the design, they feel real world worthy. The material is thin, yet strong, the elastic is a nice addition, but the waist fits smaller than listed. I opted to size up and they are still small. I wear a 35" waist, can fit 34", but ordered the 36" and it fits more like a 34" waist even with the elastic. The leg length seems true to size. I do wish they had a 34" inseam available. The color is nice and uniform. The addition of built in knee pads is a cool concept with pockets inside the legs. Although not tested, I believe the water resistant claim. Overall a decent pair of tactical pants at a fair price, just size up the waist and you'll be good to go. Read more
