There are several brands of underwear that attempt to separate your privates from your legs. This has not been perfected yet. Of course all men are different, so perhaps a "one style fits all" is not possible. These are decent, underwear, but not sure they do as much as I would have hoped. It is basically two extra straps of fabric sewn on either side of a fly (these do have a functional fly). The flaps do come together at the bottom to create a kind of pouch. They do offer a bit of extra support, keep things off the legs, but not too much different than a correctly fit pair of boxer briefs. You do feel the two pieces coming down on either side, but don't feel much support from below. They do keep them away enough to limit chafing. They do not require any extra steps in putting them on, just pull them up and everything goes where it is supposed to. Besides that extra feature, they are good underwear. The pouch is a bit smaller than I would prefer, a bit larger would probably be more comfortable. They have a very narrow waistband, which I have not had any problem with it rolling down of folding over. The legs also stay put, I have not had them rolling. They are tagless, just some info printed on the back, and the name printed on the waistband. Bamboo fiber and spandex mean they are very soft, and a bit stretchy. At 180 pounds, 35 inch waist, the large fit perfectly. Four stars as they are not quite as supportive as I had hoped, and the pouch area is a bit tight. I am not sure how they could design better support, but these do seem to be more support on the sides than the bottom. They provide just the right amount of support without feeling constricting. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with these boxer briefs.
