I was looking for a replacement for a worn out toiletries bag. I needed specific measurements to fit in the bottom of my personal airline bag. I was concerned the 6.1” height was not going to fit. My other one was 5.75. Even though this bag is structured and stands on its own, it is pliable and squeezed in perfectly with little to no resistance. (I’ve discovered that bags and totes tend to be black holes with everything settling at the bottom. If you strategically stack items on the bottom of your totes, you can fully utilize the upper space that can easily go to waste.) This toiletry bag has great organizing features. I added two slim mesh bags that further enhanced the organization for me. I especially like the thin front section that holds your toothbrush and other items neatly and here again, make efficient use of the vertical storage space of this bag. Genius! The main center section zippers open up wide so that everything is easily seen, especially with the clear ‘window’ and provides quick access. It holds everything in it’s place and makes for quick retrieval and replacement. I used the rear wet pocket mostly for facial, hand, personal wipes that can leak from time to time. This toiletry bag has a lot of options for storage, as well as many helpful additions. For instance, one of my favorite aspects is the buckle handle. Usually these handles on the one end of toiletry bag is sewn on, but I really appreciate that this is a buckle clip. You can easily unclip it and hang it around a towel bar if you'd like. The other helpful aspect are the molle pockets so you can clip and hang different items, and if you want, you could even hang some of your toiletry items to dry - though be careful they don't fall out. The zippers all seem good, and there are plenty of pockets and storage. It seems that all the pockets are lined so that they are somewhat water resistant if not water proof. I appreciate the thought behind the one compartment that has straps on one side, but on the other side, a vinyl transparent divider for one of the larger compartments so that you can see what you need. The only aspect about this that I didn't like, was that the vinyl divider seemed quite thin, and my concern is that over time, it might easily tear. On the other hand, the exterior of the bag seems very thick and durable. Other than that, it is very spacious. To be honest, I actually found it a bit too spacious for me as a toiletry bag. When I am traveling, especially with only a carry-on, I want to be conscious about the space and size of my items, and this bag is really big. It's quite firm and stable, so it takes up quite a bit of space. But if you don't mind the size, and are just mindful of the vinyl divider, it's a great bag, not only for toiletries, but you could probably use it to store other items as well. Read more
