Given to son for Christmas for cold weather riding. He says that they are excellent quality and keep his hands warm. The fact that they cover the bottom of his coat sleeve to prevent wind up his arms is a plus. Highly Recommended. XL was a little large. He could wear a liner with these gloves. Read more

UPDATE: --Zero regrets getting these! Used them riding my motorcycle and then I used them snowboarding. For riding, I still have the same issue about the loss of dexterity. It is not horrible, but it is there. And I found I will tend to sweat in these. So if I stop, and the gloves get cold? It takes a while to warm up after I get going again. But it wouldn't stop me from buying these. The price and what they do? No brainer!-- Needed cold weather riding gloves for my motorcycle. I've got two fabric pairs that just do not keep my hands warm at all. Right now I am riding in weather that jumps from 32F - 48F and strong winter winds. PRO - They got here quick and what I like is they are gauntlets. They fit my fat hands pretty good. These paired with my leather jacket means NO wind/air is getting into my jacket sleeve. The leather of the glove is pretty good. CON - The leather is slick and not tacky, and you lose a good deal of dexterity. Also I am not 100% sure on how they will hold up on a days ride. (I'll find out Sunday) But going back and forth from work this week, and they did ok. Overall they are inexpensive gloves that seem to do the trick. You lose tactile feeling for the sake of warmth. As I put more miles on, I will update this review. I'd probably get these again. Read more

I wanted gloves for bicycling in sub-freezing temperature. At -5 C, I had little problems bicycling for more than 20 minutes even with glove liners. I mean, toward the end of the ride I had to ball a palm into a fist for a minute or two, then do it with the other palm (to maintain good handlebar control, I use this trick one hand at the time. On important plus side, these gloves allow to do it easily. So for longer rides or lower temperatures, I would need different gloves. Of course, different people produce heat at different rates... Some cad in downtown San Francisco went into my saddlebag & made off with a like pair of leather gauntlets. I had them for 15 years- Like losing an old friend. Bought these for twenty bucks. Can't go wrong- well made good stitching soft flexible. They are padded and insulated-so don't expect to pick dropped coins. Overall-a great deal for good gloves. Cycle Gear would charge you probably $80 to $100 for the same gloves. I ride a Harley Wide Glide & a VMAX- perfect gloves for both bikes. Read more
