Well, the color is good, it’s definitely warm in cold (below 20F) and fit well (a little large but perfect for layering) BUT pockets. The pockets on the outside are small and there’s only two hand pockets and one SMALL breast pocket that you need to jam an iPhone 14 with a hard cover pretty hard into to get to zip. The only other pocket is in the left inner breast that while larger isn’t the easiest to access. I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars so gave it a while to review but ultimately for any outdoor activity I continually found myself hunting for places to carry gear and actually on a few occasions wore a thinner vest just to carry gear. And getting the phone out of the pocket quickly forget it! Got this to have a warmer jacket in camo for hunting as I only have warmer weather camo right now. This jacket is designed very well with special attention to some really great details including the hood drawstring which keeps the hood back on your head so you can see left and right and it doesn’t let it fall too far forward blocking your vision. Next it has some really great zips and buttons at the waist to zip up around a holster or other belt mounted items. There are plenty of pockets inside and out for gear and it is plenty warm and wind proof. It seems water resistant but probably not waterproof. The pattern is great traditional MC.
