This kit definitely covers you for emergencies. It's not quite what I would choose for myself, but the chosen items do cover a broader spectrum than my choices would. The disc itself is meant to be disposable so it's much flimsier than the reusable options that I primarily use. It's very easy to use. The beauty of discs is that they somewhat "self empty" when you use the bathroom. I noticed that this did more emptying than my regular reusable disc which means it does move a little more, but it stayed securely place until I took it out to rinse and then reinserted. The cup part of the disc is essentially like a plastic bag, so it has a lot of give, but the rim is stiffer to hold. The disc performed very well for me. The wipes were nice to freshen up. The pad was a regular wrapped thick pad. I generally use a liner while wearing a disc. Thick pads feel like diapers and I avoid them unless absolutely necessary. I would choose a liner for an emergency kit based around a disc, however, a thick pad is better for an emergency kit for someone not using a disc so it does cover more options that way. I'm familiar with reusable menstrual products as well as disposable products. This one is more for those already familiar with menstrual discs - the reusable for the course of a period, but disposed at the end of the week(ish). This is good for me to tuck into each car as an emergency pack for me. Not for me to share with those who don't use cups or discs. And I wish there were a couple panty liners or thinner pads included in the pack. The wipes are nice, but less needed for me. Expensive no doubt but nice to have in emergencies and a good kit to have in the classrooms. I wish that they didn't have the discs in them and more pads/tampons though! I do like how it is all in one place though as well cute and concealed to not make it awkward for women or girls. Read more
I have had so many moments where I forget that I’m about to start my time of the month and I am always without a tampon or a pad. I usually try to keep my car, purse, or even my wallet with a tampon. However, I usually have to use it because I forget or am in need. These are perfect though because I can leave these lying around versus just a tampon or pad lying around in my car and then people get in it and it’s embarrassing. This just looks like a cute little fun package. I have kids so a lot of people will think that this is for my kids, but in reality if you read the packaging, it’s definitely for me. The menstrual disc was awesome. I love that touch to it because it makes this completely unique. I also love that they include Adam and Eve sanitary wipes, which is a lifesaver because sometimes when I don’t realize that I’ve started I have a mess down there. The sanitary wipes are gonna be perfect for cleaning up and then being able to use these emergency kits. Honestly think these are going to be an awesome giftgiving thing for me but otherwise these are definitely going to be my life-saving emergency . This set is feminine hygiene kits is definitely useful (especially in an emergency, to toss in one's bag, or for guests), but it's also odd and raises some questions about the overall product. The maxi pad is a generic pad, wrapped, but not sealed (as you would find in a purchased back of 30 or 40). The "menstrual disc" is individually packaged (and sealed), but looks a bit flimsy (there's a sturdy plastic ring with a cup that is made up medium-strength plastic--much like a stronger plastic wrap). There are also no instructions for use, cleaning, or maintenance, or information about the kind of plastic used in either the ring or cup. The included wipes are from (different) brand names. It looks more like a an emergency care package one might assemble for a friend than a professional hygiene product. I'm comfortable with the pad and wipes, but without more information, I wouldn't be comfortable with the menstrual cup/ring, either for myself or for giving it away. I'm sure the items are "fine," but for products that go so close to/in your body, more information and a more professional approach is needed. Read more
These kits are nice in an emergency, but the contents of these kits are a little odd. The disc instead of more common tampons. I've put these in my guest bathroom, but don't think I'll order these again. Outside of the attractive bag, the items aren't the best/most comfortable. I won't order these again. Read more
