Indulge yourself, adults can have stuffies too
This has to be one of my favorite gifts to myself as a 46 year old woman. I indulged in the sale price on Amazon, and after receiving it I probably would have paid full price given the quality. The distribution of the weight in the paws and the belly is perfect. The loftiness of the plush is also just right for me. At night I use it as a snuggle pillow, which keeps my arms and a more ergonomic position then I have had in a long time, and the weight of it keeps it from easily shifting away from me in my sleep, allowing me to sleep more soundly. The texture of the fabric is soft and cool to the touch, although it does warm up to my body temperature at night and can feel a little warm, but I'm also perimenopausal so you cannot blame the stuffed animal for that, lol. Although my husband finds it a bit odd for me to be so excited about a stuffed animal, this one was certainly designed with us adults in mind. It is the perfect size for me, I am 5'4. Read more

I did not realize it was a weighted hippo. I should have paid attention to your description. it’s super cute however for a little three-year-old I thought it was a little heavy, but I get that it’s for kids with anxiety and this helps them to relax…. I went ahead and ordered a regular pillow hippo from another vendor, but I’m gonna keep this one either way. Read more
