I bought this set for my primary home kitchen.I cut alot of beef, vegtables and fish,these work great for that.I've worked in resteraunts before and would recommend to anyone looking for a good sharp knife set with great handles. Read more
The best knife set available for the money!
The set is top notch for a daily use kitchen set. It has a great range of types and sizes that cover any need short of breaking down a side of beef. The handles are shaped to prevent rolling in your grip. The dimpling reduces vacuum lock between slices of food, similar to hand-made hyper-expensive Japanese blades. However, since these knives are less precious you will be able to use them with greater confidence and enjoy the experience. Read more
Almost perfect
The packaging was simple but came in un damaged and in good condition. These are somewhat heavy which I prefer personally. The handle and bolster are comfortable to grip and don’t slip out of the hand even when wet. The knives are sharp and hold their edge long after use. I’ve cut meat, fish, herbs, fruits, vegetables and bread, spent hours prepping and cooking with these and they’re still holding a sharp edge. My only complaint is that something in the packaging, presumably the plastic wrap, left an impression along the belly of the chefs knife that did not wash off. You can’t really see it unless you hold the blade directly in light so it’s a minor issue. Read more
