Comfy—no break in period for me
Love! Fit great. Comfy. Suede. Took them out on their first hike today and they were so comfortable. They feel as light as a tennis shoe. Hoping they hold up in the wet. I used suede protective spray. Read more
NOT waterproof
Not sure if I received a defective pair, but my feet are soaked in these while backpacking in the rain. I don't have other boots with me so I'm stuck with these. The boots say waterproof on them, but they are everything but that. Usually this brand is great, unfortunately not this time. Read more

Great hiking shoes but order at least a half size up!
Great hiking boots but I had to return and order a half size up. I usually wear a 10 but a 10.5 fit much better. Love the purple color and great ankle support. Feels more like a tennis shoe than a boot which I really like. Read more

Great for winter hike & roomy
Great for late fall/winter hike in Yosemite just after snow. A tad bigger than my other size 9 Merrels but my toes felt great and no blisters. I had a bit of stiffness on the top left arch but it subsided. I didn’t break these in at all and did 10 miles right away. The sole is also also thicker than my other booths.
