So far so good, no problems at all. The frame seems quite sturdy and doesn't slide (I added the extra pad it came with to the middle support leg). It came together quite easily but would be rather difficult if you don't have someone to help hold a few pieces up while securing them together. I think the key to bed frames like this is to just get a lower frame and buy a box spring. From a lot of the research i've been doing, it's the frames with much longer legs that have the most problems. It's because the legs aren't braced enough to support the amounts of elevated shifts in weight that are constantly being applied to it (getting into/out of bed/tossing and turning/other). So adding height by using a box spring doesn't compromise the legs stability of the bed frame itself. Sadly it adds an extra expense but you will get the extra height needed and have a very stable bed set-up that you don't have to worry about. Read more

This is a nice bedframe and it is certainly ALOT better than those old standard metal frames you get when you buy a mattress set. Super simple to set up and supports my tempurpedic and boxspring. Best of all it doesn't wiggle or squeak! It is very solid so felt heavy to move into place on my own, but alot of that was due to my 92 lb puppy "helping." I did quasi crack my toes on the outside center support, but mostly that was because I wasn't used to a support there. I had leftover pool noodle from when I used used it to surround the legs on my dog's coolaroo, so I cut pieces to fit the center supports. It's worked great to remind my toes something is there. Very pleased with my purchase and am glad to finally have a decent bedframe! There are no moving parts on this one so nothing to come loose. The old ones were a headache. This bedframe has been the perfect solution. My semi-feral cats were pleased that I kept the same mattress height and I am also. I didn't want my bed too high or too low. This one was perfect. Arrived on time. It came well packaged and most importantly was easy to setup. It provides a stable frame and my queen size mattress fits well . The only thing was I wish it had been a tad higher to fit bins easily underneath, but that is probably my miscalculation as I should have gotten a 10inch height. I was looking for a frame to support a single mattress. This product came in a surprisingly small box. The sides were folded in the middle along with the legs. Eash side is a separate piece that are connected by cross bars and screwed to secure. The legs are short, so it's not high off the ground. The legs have protected rubber or something to keep from scratching floors. It was an easy job for one person to assemble. I already had a "bunkie board" to go under the mattress. if you don't have a box spring for your mattress, I'd recommend a board or something to keep the mattress from sinking between the cross pieces. This frame came packaged well, sturdy and met our needs. It was easy to assemble, and had slotted holes where the headboard connects. I liked the powder coated texture and the bed feels sturdy when it was placed on the frame. My reason for leaving off a star was because the design ( neccessary) and placement of the feet at the front corners and on the side in the center, sits out so far that you constantly bang toes on it! They are metal, so you see stars when hitting it so hard and unaware. I am not sure this item could be engineered differently. I know it needs these feet where they are... but OUCH, they are almost impossible to walk up on and not hit. I am using this in my guest room, and worried about my guest being miserable while visiting. Even with warnings, we all kept hitting them. Our plan is to get a cheap pool noodle and try to fashion it around the feet to pad. Pool noodles are usually a bright color, and may peep out a bit- but still better than killing your toes over and over. * one more thing to mention, if you slide the box spring down a little extra there is more protection at the foot of the bed.
