In two places in the description says the weight capacity is 350 pounds and in another spot it says 140 pounds. I am guessing it depends on how you balance the clothing on the hooks. Looks nice. It would be less likely to topple over if the base was wider. Twice, someone has brushed by it and it began to topple over. I was able to run and catch it before it fell to the ground. Read more

First of all, the instructions look like they were drawn up by a grade schooler. The one page sheet it came with is pictured. Look at the parts list on the right. Then look at some of the parts of this product in my other picture. They look nothing alike. Secondly, the parts are visibly shoddy. This round shiny piece that goes on the base came already chipped on the edges. The whole piece is bent and it doesn't even sit flat on the base by the way, but it's hard to tell from the picture. Lastly, this coat stand is barely usable after you put it together, because the plastic round ball ends of the hooks sit so loosely on the ends, that they would just fall off as you remove any coat that's hanging on the hooks. I've bought some cheap stuff on Amazon, but this ranks as one of the worst. Read more

It's a good coat rack. It is relatively easy to assemble and slim so it does not take up a lot of space. Very useful when having guests over so they do not need to throw their jackets on the floor or bedroom. Can hold 4-6 jackets easily. The base is heavy so the rack is weighted down and does not tip over. The item arrived in good condition too. Happy with the purchase. Read more
