I've tried several natural deodorants over the years, and this is the only one that is actually effective! It keeps me smelling fresh all day at work, even when sweating, and the coconut smell is so good!! It hasn't caused me any skin irritation or anything like that, but my skin has never been too sensitive to these types of things. I will say that the consistency is a bit weird, it's almost chalky, and it can be a little bit hard to apply, but that isn't a huge deal for me considering how well it works. I bought this for my daughter who just started to wear deodorant. She doesn't really "smell" strong enough that I'd be concerned about the effectiveness this would have on her body odor. I am disappointed in the texture. The deodorant is very soft, maybe too soft. She has to apply it very lightly or it smashes into her armpits. Is it supposed to be that soft? I'm not sure. Also, when we received the deodorant, it was covered in an oily residue. We both love the Pure Peace scent. Read more
Okay…..let me just be honest, I am, always have been, and always will be, a stinky armpit girl. I have spent literally thousands of dollars on antibacterial soaps, charcoal scrubs, apple cider vinegar sprays, probiotics, acids, benzoyl peroxide washes, armpit detox clay masks, not to mention prescription sweat blockers, clinical, drugstore and natural deodorants and antiperspirants. I have anxiety induced and hormonal sweats (we all know stress & hormone sweat stinks far worse than workout or heat sweat) and I am also extremely temperature sensitive (I keep my business AND home between 60-68 degrees and have crazy high electric bills), and the only deodorants I’ve found that work without reapplying are this, the Daily Zen Green Tea scent, and Little Seed Farm. I hate that you have to apply LSF with your fingers, so having this one in a stick form makes life so much easier. The reason this works so well is due to the high level of magnesium hydroxide. That combined with a crisp, clean, spa like scent kills any offensive BO smell. I also have the shea butter and rice milk scent which is amazing as well- subtle, cozy coconut vanilla like scent perfect for winter. I do still smell the tiniest amount of stink late in the day or the next morning with that scent whereas absolutely zero with the Daily Zen version. Read more
I like thr factcthat it has clean ingredients, it applies nicely on the skin, the packaging is good, and seems like a quality product. However, I'm not crazy about this fragrance. It's a little too floral for me, almost smells like a "Summer's Eve" fragrance that I've never been fond of. Read more
