These have held up and worked for both charging as well as carplay. Everything is moving to USB-C as the standard, so no reason to invest in lightning cables anymore. This makes it easier to have 1 cable that has the flexibility to charge our iPhones pre and post iPhone 15, our son's fire tablet, headphones, and pretty much any new device nowadays.
