The outer shell isn’t rigid. It rolls easily but dings easily, too causing dents but when used as carry on you don’t have to worry as much about the carousel beating it up. Holds a load of stuff easily and is a nice price. Read more
The MGB Hardside Checked Luggage is a clean, modern-looking suitcase designed for travelers who want something lightweight and easy to maneuver. The PC hard shell gives it a more refined feel than basic ABS-only luggage, and the overall design looks sharp without being flashy. It’s clearly aimed at casual to moderate travelers rather than those who fly constantly. In use, the 360-degree double spinner wheels are one of the stronger features. They roll smoothly through airports and make the bag easy to control even when fully packed. The TSA lock is a welcome addition and works as expected, adding convenience for checked travel. Interior space is adequate for a medium checked bag, though organization is fairly standard without anything especially innovative. Durability is where expectations should stay realistic. While the PC shell feels sturdier than cheaper materials, it still has some flex and will likely show scuffs and scratches over time. It offers protection for clothing and normal travel items but may not hold up as well under frequent rough handling. The handle system works fine but doesn’t feel especially reinforced. Setup and use are straightforward, with no instructions really needed. Pros: Smooth double spinner wheels, lightweight PC hard shell, TSA lock included, easy to maneuver, and clean, modern appearance. Cons: Shell may show wear with frequent travel, handle feels average under heavy load, and interior organization is basic. Worth it at this price point: Somewhat — it performs well for occasional or moderate travel, but the durability doesn’t fully justify the cost for frequent flyers who need something tougher. This is a good-looking carry-on suitable for business or leisure travel. The simple vertical lines, textured surface, and low-profile top and side handles give it a no-nonsense professional look thatʻs great for work trips. The wheels roll smoothly, and the telescoping handle extends enough to be comfortable for us taller folks over six feet tall. I appreciate that when extended, the handle does not rattle or have excessive flex. The integrated combination TSA lock means no longer having to provide your own or keep track of keys. The zipper works smoothly and the clean, simple design maximizes interior space. A zippered divider keeps things organized, and although itʻs not mentioned, the top two hard feet are formed to provide hooks to keep your hands free for those last minute purchases as you rush to your gate. Itʻs been on eight flights so far, including two over the Pacific, and shows very little sign of wear. This bag gets all the important stuff right, making it easy to use and one less thing to worry about on a trip. Read more

I have used this carryon luggage a few times now and it has held up to bumps, falls and squeezing in tight spaces. I was able to fit a weeks worth of clothes plus my toiletries and 2 pair of shoes in this carry on. I flew delta and even though it was a smaller plane it fit with room to spare in the overhead compartment. I liked the zipper section on the inside lid, I was able to separate my shoes and toiletries from my clothes for great organization and to keep things clean From any dirt or debris. The wheels roll in all directions and were smooth and went seamlessly over various terrain. This is a great quality carry on luggage or perfect for a weekend trip with the family. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Very light when empty. All of the moving parts are nicely made. Nothing catches. The handle goes smoothly in and out with pressing of the button on the top of the handle. It turns in 360° directions. You don’t have to pull this thing on an angle like you did back in the old days. It has a handle in the top so that you can pull it from the overhead bin. There is a handle on the side. When not in use the handles are essentially flush with the suitcase itself, so it shouldn’t lend itself to being damaged easily. What I mean is nothing is really sticking out which is a bonus. The instructions are very clear as to how to create a combination so that you can lock this. It is TSA approved so even if you check the bag it can be easily accessed for inspection if need be. The outside zipper moves very smoothly. The bag is not expandable, which I personally prefer. When they make those expandable kinds of bags, I always get confused as to which zipper I’m pulling on. It seems like a small thing, but it gets annoying after a while. In my years of traveling, I know that this is a unique enough color where it should not be mistaken easily with another bag. It is an awful thing when you get to the gate and the agent says that the flight is full and they have to check your bag. Before I used to have a bag that didn’t lock but now worst case scenario if I have to have this bag checked, I know there’s a lock so I feel better. Read more

This luggage strikes a good balance of durability and convenience. The hard shell feels sturdy enough to protect your belongings from bumps and knocks and still staying within most airline size limits. It rolls smoothly and is easy to maneuver, thanks to the telescopic handle and 360 degree spinner wheels. The interior layout is simple and laid out like most carry-on bags. It has a couple of compartments that help keep things organized. So far, it seems solidly built and still lightweight. This is a functional choice for easy-to-maneuver carry-on luggage without unnecessary bells and whistles. That said, the $79.99 price tag is way too much for what you're getting. This is a very basic piece and lacks the brand notoriety to call for that price. Read more
