miccostumes Mens Royal Guard Uniform Cosplay Costume Outfit

Ordered the men's medium for my brother, who loves the Legend of Zelda. This is his favorite outfit from the game, so it was an easy choice. It came about a week early for me, and the quality was incredible. I like to make my own costumes and know a little bit about sewing, but not a ton, so this could be subject to poor phrasing. The Hylian Crest was Embroidered on the surcoat and beret, and looks incredible. we have yet to find loose threads anywhere. Fabric choice is always important and I feel they nailed this too. The gloves are a very soft fake leather from the looks of it, the rope details surprisingly soft, and the gold they used to line everything is not cheap looking at all. I was scared due to the lack of reviews and the lower price point (100$ give or take is an incredible price for this, generally you get what you pay for, this is above and beyond), but if you're on the fence due to this, then absolutely get this costume. A few things I would like to note, since I want to keep this as fair as possible, we are going to have to add an extra piece of Velcro to the belt, as it didn't fit him perfectly, but it was an online purchase, and one size never fits all so you expect to do these things. Great attention to detail, fits well and looks outstanding. Ended up returning in order to do a home-made dark link cosplay instead, but was seriously impressed with this. Great for little-to-no-effort play/costume. Only complaint, it was packaged very tightly and the flat parts that hang over the thighs from the blue tunic thing was creased unnecessarily - it's the most visible flat surface of the outfit and they did not need to fold that piece to fit it in the packaging. Everything fits perfectly. I had one teeny tiny issue and that was the cross body rope belt was a little small for my frame but I was able to fix it. Overall 10/10. Arrived at a decent time right before my party. Very high quality uniform, but also very warm due to all the think layers. You'll have to supply your own black pants and white shoes, and some safety pins to keep the leg attachments from falling down while walking. Read more

This is such a fun costume to wear at Conventions or for Halloween. I love being able to bring the Legend of Zelda to life and it is so fun to share that with others. Costume fits fine, little adjustment needed for me. Read more
