Lovely purse 4.5 stars- Amazon should ship it more carefully
This is a lovely purse, with a simplistic, classic design. It's made of soft leather, and it snaps open. It has a long, open outer pocket on the back for various items. There are two pockets on the front of a decent size. It has a small inner pocket on the back of the purse, and surprisingly, inside the purse there is enough room for my 8.7" tablet and its Otterbox-esque case. I appreciate there is enough room for my tablet and likely a wallet, perhaps a cellphone as well as miscellaneous items like chapstick or lip gloss. When they call this a shoulder bag, they aren't kidding. It sits right under the shoulder, pretty snug against your armpit. I could see it getting uncomfortable more quickly than a crossbody purse. At least this purse is light, and as long as you don't put too many heavy items in it, you should be okay for several hours at least. For such a pricey purse, I expected Amazon to ship it better. It came in one of their envelopes, with no padding, foam, or bubble wrap. The only thing protecting it was the very thin tissue paper it was wrapped in printed with the designer's logo. Fortunately it wasn't harmed in shipping, but I could see it getting deformed or marred if something heavy was shipped with it. Hopefully they are more careful shipping such items in the future. I got some chipped ceramic coasters recently because they were in a box with no protection. But I digress. Overall this is a handsome and well crafted purse. If you are looking for a small and classy purse for your outings, I would recommend this one. How it sits right under your shoulder should make it more secure as well. Read more
