I bought this scooter for my son’s 6th birthday, and he absolutely loves it! He had a three-wheel scooter from the same brand before, and this is the perfect next step for him. You can't find a better scooter anywhere than a Micro. This is our sixth scooter and it's just as amazing as the others we've purchased. We've had several of the Mini, Maxi, and Joystick among three kids and their friends always want to ditch their own scooters to ride these. The quality is a huge factor as to why these scooters are so great. They are lightweight and constructed extremely well. Ours have taken a beating from daily use for years and they are still in fantastic condition - you may just need to replace the tires over time like any other scooter. We actually never have but the ones that were used excessively could probably use them (available on the micro kickboard website.) The three-wheeled mini is what started our love of the brand - or toddler neighbor had one and was zooming around the neighborhood with ease. I was shocked when my 3-year-old hopped on and within minutes was gliding around like he'd been doing it for months. The lean-to-steer concept contributes greatly to the ease of use for little ones. We handed down our original Micro to a friend when my son outgrew it and a week later she called me in amazement at how her son had immediately taken to it and no longer wanted to ride any of his other bikes/scooters. At 5 my son graduated to the Maxi and it was the same amazing scooter yet slightly bigger. He also was given the Joystick (our exact model has since been discontinued) that was heavier and could hold an adult. We thought we were buying an exclusively children's scooter due to an inaccurate website description (not Micro or Amazon's site) and it took him a couple of years to feel comfortable, but now at 8 he rides around our local boardwalks with ease. Mom even sneaks in a ride every once in a while! He recently asked for his first 2-wheeler scooter so I went right to Micro Kickboard without hesitation. I found this scooter, the Sprite, and when it arrived I was as excited as he was. It's foldable, has a kickstand, lightweight and the quality blows Razor and every other scooter away. It's also absolutely beautiful! We were lucky to find this Rusty Red color here that's not available on the regular site (my son's favorite color is red.) I practically sound like an advertisement but I cannot stress enough how wonderfully these scooters are designed and also how much FUN kids have while riding them. They take most bumps with ease and they feel so comfortable while zooming around like pros. They are truly durable and last forever. I got this scooter years ago for my older child, and it’s still going strong. It’s been through a lot—daily rides, tumbles, getting tossed around—and somehow it’s still solid. My younger one uses it now, and it’s held up better than I expected. There’s the usual wear and tear, of course—scratches, scuffs—but nothing that affects how it rides or works. The build quality is what really stands out. It feels sturdy and well-balanced, not flimsy like some others we’ve tried in the past. The steering is smooth, and the wheels have held up nicely on both pavement and rougher sidewalks. The color is still vibrant too—blue was the pick, and it still catches the eye even after all this time. What also gives me peace of mind is how stable and safe it feels, even at higher speeds or when turning quickly. I never worried about it tipping or wobbling, which really matters when kids are zipping around corners or riding downhill. We were initially introduced to Kickboard by Micro when I purchased the mini for our oldest son when he was about 3. The wheels worked perfectly in that it would glide effortlessly. He's used it for over 2 years and has passed it down to his brother. Still in great condition! We wanted to get scooters for the whole family so we can get out together and enjoy scooting around. I ended up choosing the 3-wheel Original with the pilot steering. My husband got the Micro Sprite with T-bar steering. These adult sized scooters work just as perfect at the micro scooter we bought our son over 3 years ago. We have yet to find another brand that works as well. Yes, the price is more than other brands but definitely worth it as it will last you years more than the others. Our family of 4 all have scooters now and we enjoy going out on scooter adventures. Really like the design, stability, durability, and ease of use. The only negative is that the mechanism that lets you fold it up sometimes is hard to engage. Not always but once in a while, it will take a few tries to get it to close or open up. Read more

I purchased this for my sons 4th birthday and he was thrilled. Great light weight scooter but quality and sturdiness is fantastic. Very well designed and when he gets tired of scooting we can fold it down and slip it under the pram. Due to the adjustable handlebar I know he will have this scooter for many years to come. We have been buying Micro scooters since my almost 9 year old was 2 and I have never had a single complaint. He was finally ready for a two wheel scooter and getting Micro's was a no brainer. He is thrilled with it, and I am thrilled with the quality. I can tell it will last must longer than a Razer or any of the other brands out there. He is able to easily fold and unfold it himself.
