I bought this to try in an old musty antique trunk I have to store blankets in. I placed a couple packages inside and wow, I can’t believe it took out all the musty odor away. Incredible! Then I tried a couple closets, they have no ventilation and tend to get odors. I placed a few packages inside and same, took away the musty odor. I bought a used vacuum that also inherited an odor. I placed a package inside and also took away a he odor. Amazing! This is the only brand I could find that’s earth friendly. Highly recommend. Read more
Great item and plenty to share with friends and family. Needed to protect my shoes, clothes and other items from dry rot and undesired moisture. Read more
These perform like the typical SiO2 desiccant but they are less expensive and produce better results. So why did I give 4 stars and not 5? Because the packets have a covering (package) made of paper, some foods/substances have oils that get absorbed into the paper cover. If it's used for a pkg of batteries, a pair of shoes, an electrical part, etc., the paper isn't an issue. However, I often use these for food products (pretzels, chips, cereal) and their oil is absorbed. Eventually, the absorption of air (water) will be decreased...as opposed to a plastic or fabric type covering. I had to use my chemistry background to come up with a "fix". I just used some of the little condiment holders that the pizza places use for red pepper, grated cheese, etc. I poked a few holes in each lid and condiment holder- this blocks the oil absorption but lets the air and moisture pass thru. Safe and affective! Better than cilica Read more
These packets have been great. I put them in some dried fruit that I made back in December and they still have a good quality to them. No mold they’re still soft and still taste good. Definitely will rebuy when I am done with the pack I have. And are very effective and if you’re into dehydration, good value for the money.. Read more
I’ve never used this before and I think it’s been around for years. I used it to put charts on the wall and found it easy to remove after 1month without damage to the wall. I have also used it to stabilize craft I was making and then easily remove when ready. Read more
