So happy with my purchase. I bought this mat because I do both yoga and weight bearing floor exercises. It's a bit bigger than a standard yoga mat - good. It's way more cushioned than a standard yoga mat - outstanding! I am able to do exercises that require me to be on my hands, or elbows, and knees without pain. The mat has just the right amount of padding so it doesn't interfere with balance. Best of all - zero odor. It’s expensive, but worth it. I’m thin. When I do crunches with other advertised padded mats, my spine and tailbone can still feel the floor, which is uncomfortable and prevents me from exercising in proper form. On the other hand, I’ve had mats that are so thick and foamy that I feel unstable when I stand to do squats or jumping jacks. I need a mat that’s padded enough for my joints when I do ab exercises or am on my knees, but thin enough so I can do squats and jump around doing cardio without losing my balance. This is the perfect mat that provides cushion and stability! I do not feel it slip when doing cardio. It’s also easy to clean. The only con is it’s not non-slip on the top. When I do a push up and my hands are sweaty, my hands do slip. I just wear workout gloves which solves the problem. This is the best mat I have tried for Pilates. No need to search anymore! Edit: At the time of purchase, the pink mat was $69.99. I think higher than that is greedy. UPDATE: I’ve had this mat for only a few months and it’s already bubbling. It’s like the adhesive wore out.
