I hate this expensive product! I poured over and highlighted the manual, followed directions and tried both fully-charged batteries, and suddenly, the cumbersome machine will not turn on! The lights indicate the battery is fully charged! Even then, the battery runs out in 15 minutes! I purchased this from Amazon, would love to return it, but the “window of return “ expired October 1,2024. I really wanted to love this product but sadly it does not live up to its high price tag. I have loved and stood by Miele vacuums for over 10 years. We have had two canister bag vacuums from Miele and they were both exceptional quality but sadly there are too many issues with this stick vacuum to give a good review. The suction power is the only thing worth 5 stars, everything else is subpar at best. As other reviews have mentioned, even at the lowest setting you only get about 30 total minutes of battery power before having to recharge. If you use the highest setting you get maybe 15 minutes - we paid extra to get the 120 minutes of battery life and the vacuum does not even get close. The unit itself is also rather heavy and difficult to break apart and transform into the hand held version. There are quite a few steps and it’s really not worth the time or effort to switch back and forth between handheld and stick versions. It’s also a bit tricky to empty the canister once you’re done cleaning- so much so my wife still has to ask me to do it every time because she can’t do it herself and we’ve had the vacuum over a month now. I would say for the 900$ price tag this has been the biggest disappointment. Please don’t buy this product, I would say as a self professed Miele vacuum lover that except for the suction power this is totally not worth the high price tag. Read more

I purchase this model because it came with a spare battery and its suction capabilities are highly acclaimed for a cordless vacuum. Unfortunately, the batteries don't hold a charge for more than 3 days. You can charge a battery and use it, but when you swap to the spare, the spare will be completely dead. Seems to have decent suction. The roller bar on the power head would not turn when on a dense pile rug. The manufacturer put zero effort into tangle prevention and it is impossible to empty the canister without getting dust all over yourself. The dust bin design is decades old. Read more
