Really cheap, thin, see-through material. Not the regular opaque, stretchy tech material of mier's typical shorts (like in the product picture), I have a couple other pairs and these are much cheaper thin polyester. They almost feel like cheap microfiber bedsheets. They might be comfy and airy, but I'll never know, because I'm not about to put the crown jewels on display or buy beige underwear. I ordered these shorts in prep for summer specifically when Indian Summer came along, making us all remember that summer means warm (we'd forgotten in the midst of the NE winter cold). I ordered these shorts and got a whole 1 day to wear them before the cold came back! The shorts feel good (90% Polyester, 10% Spandex) when worn or when touched. They're light enough not to weigh you down, but strong enough that you feel contained comfortably in their mesh panels. They are well made, well-stitched and have pockets that are deep enough to actually hold things (cell phone, keys, smokes) without having to worry they will spill into the street. There are also two zipper pockets for 'really-gotta-be-protected' items. All in all, these are exactly what I was looking for (now I'm looking for warm enough days to wear them!). Decent, lightweight fabric, some color die bleeding. decent zippers...would recommend for the price but won't last as long as shorts costing double+. Oh, much better, holds up doesn't fold, waist than others...main reason for 4 starship, recommend. Read more
