First thing I noticed about these shorts upon purchase and several uses is that they are definitely very light-weight and the material is soft and comfortable to exercise in. I also like the fact that the waist draw string is inside the short instead of on the outside like some other exercise shorts. Although I use these shorts for group exercise classes, they remind me of a classic running short and fit true to size. Although not a personal concern for me, the only drawback is the pockets are a little less functional if you want to carry other items (ie., cell phone, wallet, keys. etc.). I bought these for my middle school aged son for when he cross country. I made this selection for a couple of different reasons. Orange is very easy to see when you’re the parent trying to locate your kid on the cross-country track, number two is the fact that orange is his favorite color so he doesn’t know that the reason I want to buy orange so that I can actually find him.
