It’s a beast

The media could not be loaded. Excellent battery replacement Review: Perfect fit and great power. The battery performance is strong, starts right up every time, and holds charge really well. Definitely worth the price. Read more

PERFECT purchase; perfect performance!

LOVE this battery! I got it to replace a battery in my 2022 Genuine Buddy Kick motor scooter. It has been pretty chilly here in Ohio, but every time I have tried to start my scooter, it fires right up! I love that the battery was ready to go out of the box. No pouring battery acid or anything. I’d gladly buy this battery again. Read more

Battery post hole too small/Also nut is problematic

Installed just today into my Wolf Brand EX150 scooter, and it started right up. I see negative reviews regarding ability to hold a charge, but I can't speak to that as of yet. Two install problems though. 1. The battery posts have top and side holes. Due to configuration of the scooter, I have to use the top holes. The hole on the positive post is fine. Incredibly, the hole on the negative post is too small for the bolt that came with it. Tried other battery post bolts, which wouldn't fit either, as they are standard size. The hole is not threaded, but I had to carefully and firmly screw the bolt into the negative post (before installing) to widen the hole. The bolt still wouldn't slip through, as with the positive terminal, but I was able to install this way. 2. The nut slips into the space underneath the post hole. Usually, there's a stop tab that prevents the nut from slipping all the way through and out. Not so here. I slipped the nut into one of the terminals, and it slipped right out the other side onto the floor. Good thing I saw where it dropped; otherwise I'd be on my hands and knees, searching and cursing. The other nut problem is trying to line it up so the bolt goes in when connecting the cables. That's where the cursing came in. I ended up snipping a 3/8-inch-wide zip tie into 3 3-1/4 inch pieces, and was able to wedge the nut on top of those pieces to hold the nut in place directly under the post hole. This allowed me to bolt the cable. Once in place, I back out the bolt just enough so I could dislodge the zip tie pieces and remove them. Now, having seen the reviews complaining about the ability to hold a charge, I'm holding my breath. Read more

Economical and Good Quality

It fit as it was supposed to, so the size is accurate. It has performed perfectly for the few weeks that I've owned it. I'll update later if there are any issues or if it fails prematurely, but for now I have nothing but positive things to say. Read more

Amazing power punch

If you're looking for a solid American-made product, you've come to the right place. The YTX7A-BS Battery by Mighty Max is exactly what you need. My previous battery would struggle to start in the mornings, and sometimes it wouldn’t crank. It was only about eight months old, but I won't mention any names—it's not fair to blame a company when products can sometimes slip through quality control. Maybe it was made on a Friday afternoon by someone eager to start their weekend! Upon installing the Mighty Max battery, my scooter started up with just a key bump, which is quite unusual for a 200cc Transpro tank. I did come across a few reviews mentioning difficulties with the nut and bolt. My advice? Just place a spark plug gauge under the nut; the screw is just a millimeter short. It’s not a big deal, and I'm sure the engineers will address it soon enough. Don’t let that minor issue deter you from making a purchase. A bit of mechanical knowledge and common sense are all you need to get the job done. We all know that common sense can be in short supply these days, right? So go ahead—make that purchase and don’t look back. Mighty Max has your back! Read more
