Tight grip. I had to have magnets for the underside of my macaw’s food dish. She like to pick it up and toss it (and the food) onto the floor. I thought I got one too heavy for her to pick up but the little booger is stronger than I thought so I glued a magnet to the bottom of her food bowl. Overall, I will say that I am content with these magnets. Price & quantity is fair & on point, I'd like to think. So what's NOT so perfect you may ask? Well...70-90% of the time, any screws you get with online purchases are usually trash & made of low quality construction, so in which case, I had to go and buy my own reliable screws for my house project. I will mention that it is very important that when you tighten these down, you NEED TO BE extra careful on how tight or how much pressure you use while installing these, because the magnets will crack! Also note that if you don't use these directly on a metal surface, that you won't get the same amount of pull or magnetic strength...so just keep that in mind in all fairness. I nneeded some small very powerfull magnets for a project and these have proved to be perfect. They are about an inch in diameter, iwth a a hole predrilled in the center, and very strong. These were perfect for my usage. I can recommend. Read more
