Great small water bottle for my kids and me. Key points- 1. It holds about 10 ounces of liquid (regular one time water bottle is about 16.9 ounces for comparison) 2. They are sturdy. 3. The lid closes well and makes is spill proof when completely closed. 4. 6 year old can easily open and seal lid. 5. Easy to clean and no straws to worry about. Overall just what we needed for a bedside source of water or quick trip in the car. If you’re looking for something for school water bottles this would be a bit too small and is not spill proof if the lid isn’t fully closed. Read more

Let me preface this by saying I live in AZ, so we have a LOT of water bottles, as it is essential that we take water with us almost everywhere we go. I tried this bottle because I needed something at my desk and since I work from home, it didn't need to be insulated. There have been a couple of water and keyboard accidents, so I though thought it would be good to have something with a cap. When I opened the Amazon box, I first noticed that the plastic was not as strong as I had hoped. It feels more like plastic you would find on a spray bottle or travel sized shampoos. Given what I am using it for, it wasn't a big problem. One thing I liked immediately was that it was square, which is space saving. My biggest issue with this, however, is the size. It is advertised for adults and kids, but I can finish half the bottle in 2 or 3 gulps. That obviously defeats the purpose of having a bottle of water for thirst. Given the size, my nose also bumps the top of the bottle when trying to drink. With all that said, I can see this being an excellent, economical choice for a parent with a young child, or one transitioning from a bottle. For one, you can't really beat the price and colors. There are small indentations along the side of the bottle, which would help a child have a more firm grip on the bottle. The hole in the top of the bottle is also large enough for the water to flow out, but not big enough for it to all pour all over immediately if dropped. I haven't had any issues with leaking either, so it would likely withstand some drops and throws to the ground. I can also see this as a good "cup" for next to the bed for night time. Lastly, I see this is a good gateway bottle for a kid that wants to be like the grown ups. I only gave this 4 stars because it did not serve the purpose as intended or as advertised as far as being good for an adult. But if advertised as a beginning water bottle for small kids, it would fit the bill 100%. Read more

We recently took a trip to Seattle and this bottle was doing great. It was easy to fill, and to drink from. I brought it empty for the airport security portion. The loop came in handy when securing it to his bag. The only downside to the bottle is the cap. Maybe we just had bad luck but the cap broke when my kid accidentally dropped it. It must’ve hit it just right, and the cap lever was destroyed. I can’t risk breaking still cap the bottle but it takes some maneuvering it get it to close. Had the cap not broken, I would’ve given it a 5 star rating. Unfortunately I’ll end up shaving off and smoothing the broken piece for continued use. Read more
