Love this blazer. The heavy tweed texture of the fabric is substantial, with flecks of a subtle gold thread, giving it the look of a more expensive jacket. The single button closes with no pulling. I'm 5 ft 2 in and weigh 100 lbs. the XS fits me well; even though the shoulders are a little wide for me it still looks fine (I have very narrow shoulders). As I am short, double breasted blazers tend to make me look "squatty" but not this one. The cut of this jacket is flattering and the length is good for dresses, trousers and jeans so I can dress it up or down depending on the occasion. The seaming gives it a slightly fitted silhouette and a nice subtle touch of style. The weight is good and it is warm enough to wear on a cool day; and since I live in Upstate South Carolina, I can probably wear it into winter. It is fully lined so it is easy to pull over long sleeves, drapes nicely and doesn't ride up on the hips. I also appreciate that it is machine washable, although I have not washed it yet, so I don't know how it will hold up. I would definitely recommend this blazer if you're looking for a stylish, well-made and versatile jacket on a budget. Read more
I bought this tweed blazer originally as a classic piece for fall and winter—rich texture, warm tones, and a structured silhouette that gives major timeless elegance. But recently, on a whim, I decided to style it for spring with a sparkly top underneath... and wow, it completely transformed! The contrast between the cozy, heavier fabric and the shimmer of the sparkly top created such a fresh, unexpected look. It felt effortlessly chic—like old-school sophistication met modern glam in the best way. The tweed’s earth tones actually played beautifully against the light of the season, especially during those cooler spring evenings. What really surprised me was how well the blazer breathed. Despite being a fall/winter piece, it didn’t feel too heavy for spring when layered thoughtfully. I rolled up the sleeves a little, paired it with some light-wash jeans and ankle boots, and it was honestly one of my favorite outfits of the season. If you're thinking of transitioning your wardrobe across seasons, don’t overlook a good tweed blazer. With the right styling—especially a little sparkle—it goes from traditional to totally eye-catching. Read more
This is a very nice and heavy winter blazer. Loved the fabric, and fit. However, the black blazer has gold threading all over it which I loved, until it was delivered and I noticed the buttons were silver. It just stands out a lot with all of the gold threading, so I’ll be retuning. Hopeful to get another color that won’t have this issue. Read more
Great fit, perfect for winter or fall and looks like a Veronica Beard! Read more
I recently got the Mina Self 2025 Women’s Spring Tweed Blazer, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag for me. The design is cute and fits well, which I really appreciate. However, I was surprised by how shiny the material is—it wasn’t what I expected from a tweed blazer. The fabric is decent quality and doesn’t wrinkle much, but the sheen gives it a less traditional look. On the plus side, it’s fully lined and has functional pockets, which are always a bonus. Overall, it’s an okay blazer, but the shiny material might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Read more
