These earphones lasted me a whopping 2 years unlike other earphones I had gotten. One ear piece started going off on me after that 2 year point but in all fairness, it's most likely because I fall asleep with them in and wake up to them wrapped on my arm. That's a pro right there also, they are comfortable enough to sleep with them on. I like the design of them also. Some earphones have a hard plastic that slides into your ears and it hurts after a while. I have small ears so I have to find soft flexible buds and these meet my demands. The bud attachments come in different sizes so that you have the options to try out ones that fit to your liking. As for the sound? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I listen to everything from ASMR, podcasts, to different genres of music. The bass makes it feel like I'm in a car with the bass turned up. It has boom to it yet it is also clear and crisp. No distortion whatsoever. I can't hear any noise when they are on my ears and music is playing.... which I love! While I wait for my new pair to come in, I have used my daughters earphones along with my boyfriends earphones. Both of theirs are different brands and on the pricey side yet they don't compare to these earphones. I got spoiled by the bass and the way it drowns out noise. Their earphones just didn't do the job like these do. I can be sitting in the room watching a YouTube video while my guy watches TV and I can't hear a thing. On several occasions he has had to tap my to get my attention with him just sitting right beside me. He told me to turn it down if I can't hear him. That's the point though. When I'm in my zone I don't want to hear the outside world. I just pop these babies right in my ears and zone out. If you're on the fence about trying these out... don't be. Don't let that cheap price fool you. These earphones are a slice of heaven. Read more

Ok SO I’ve spent ages trying to find a replacement for the Sony MDR-XB55AP wired extra bass headphones I bought for years. Sony DOES NOT make them anymore and I bought several pairs from different suppliers on eBay, we’re ALL FAKE!!! Like, absolute garbage (i literally still have one last pair of those sony headphones). So I’ve tried tons of headphones for as deep bass/rich sound as those Sonys, for wired headphones (using Bluetooth annoys me and Bluetooth in-ear headphones are ridiculously large to me). Anyways so imagine my surprise when I got these today and yeah they aren’t quite the same as those Sonys mentioned above BUT they have 80% of the deep bass and sound quality. For $25 also, I’m happy. Gonna order a few more pairs (between lot of time in the gym, running in various weather etc I go through at least a pair of headphones a year). Ps Sony doesn’t make anything close to those mdrxb55ap anymore. Maybe for Bluetooth but their ‘deep bass’ wired ones, tried them all and they suck. Tinny sounding, horrible bass. I learned the hard way that it’s not just the Hz range, but also the driver I guess it is. It’s no surprise these headphones look like the mdrxb55ap I mean with the tube type driver to get some good bass. Ps they are a bit easier to slip out of the ear but could care less. 80% of that awesome Sony sound that Sony doesn’t make anymore. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF ON EBAY there is SO much fake stuff on there it’s unbelievable. Read more

Great sound quality, and durability for the price! I used these headphones until the port on my phone stopped working about a year ago. I was impressed by the clear sound and nice bass output. Read more

I used to sleep with headphones every night. Falling asleep to music is a lovely thing... I can't remember why I stopped. Anyway, sleeping with headphones has some specific requirements. For one, the earbuds need to fit comfortably while laying your ear straight on the pillow. Another is that you need the wire to be very durable, because naturally you will roll all over them in your sleep. They also need to be cheap enough that you aren't heartbroken when they inevitably die. Well, let me tell you, these buds tick all the boxes. Firstly, the two major points of failure for wired headphones—the jack and the controls + mic. As you can see in the pictures, the jack is intelligently designed and is safe from being bent in a way that will cause fraying. These headphones do not have volume controls, but for me this is a good thing. Frayed wires around volume controls sometimes causes ghost inputs where your phone volume gets set to zero or the max. Waking up to music blasting in your ears is quite unpleasant! There is no risk of that here. The cord is round, which seems like a small thing, but actually it's much harder to fray wires with a round wire. If you've had a linguine-shaped cord, you know any kind of rolling friction is likely to twist the cord. This cord is smooth and round, so most rubbing against it will slide over instead. This makes it last a surprisingly long time for the cost. I would choose this over a braided wire. Now you may be thinking, all this is great, but I have no intention of sleeping with headphones. Well, that is why I'm writing this review. I stopping sleeping with music a few years ago. I recently went on a trip and wanted to grab headphones for 8 hour flight. I looked at my shelf, between these headphones and the $200 pair of wireless headphones I had bought a few months ago. I went with these. To hell with the fussiness of Bluetooth and charging your buds. There is no active noise canceling, but it makes a good suction in your ear, which is noise-canceling enough for anyone. The audio is definitely bass heavy. Honestly, I prefer it that way—background noise is generally low-frequency so the extra punchiness makes up for it. Many songs sound nicer bass boosted anyway. In short, don't waste you money on a more expensive pair. These guys got it all right. Read more
