the brightness was fine at first, but after hardly any time being on at all, they got super dim. you have to replace the batteries after hardly having the lights on for any time at all, and with the 3 batteries it requires, it uses up way to many batteries. the battery case is also very flimsy and weak. i only opened it a few times and the weak bit of plastic holding it together broke, and now it hardly stays together. even with how cheap these were, i expected better, and i didn't expect much. i also expected there to be a remote control to turn them off, but no. you have to manually find the battery case and switch it off. also, i expected them to be longer. that is probably my fault for not double checking the demensions, but it's a very short string of lights. the quality for this price is awful. save your money and get something else instead. Update: I reached out to the company and they immediately responded with an apology and they sent me a brand new product that works great. The first set didn't work, but that can happen. These stink so badly... I left them outside for a while to air out and they still stinked. Otherwise, they look like the photo and seem pretty durable. I'd say its worth the money as long as you don't mind the smell. Read more
