I picked up this TWWFKK body cam primarily for documentation during my daily work and for some extra peace of mind. After running it through a few cycles, here is my honest take. Battery Life - The battery life is probably the strongest selling point for me. It is rated for about 6 hours, and in my experience, it gets pretty close to that if you aren't constantly toggling the screen or night vision on and off. It easily lasts through the busiest parts of my shift without needing a recharge. Camera & Picture Quality - The 1080p resolution provides clear enough footage to see faces and details during the day. It’s not 'cinematic' quality, you will see some grain, but for evidence or security purposes, it gets the job done. The night vision is functional for close interactions (within roughly 6 to 15 feet), but it naturally struggles a bit if you are trying to see far into the distance in total darkness. Ease of Use & Design - I liked how simple the operation was; typically, it just takes one slide or button press to start recording, which is great when you are in a hurry. It’s very lightweight and doesn't drag down my shirt pocket. The rotatable lens is a nice touch, allowing me to mount it in different positions while still keeping the frame level. Verdict - Overall, the build quality feels decent for the price, it's plastic but feels solid enough for daily wear. Hmm. This is not the latest technology. The images are not great, although I AM spoiled by my iPhone. I've also never owned something like this before, so maybe my expectations are too high. I just don't know. To be honest, I was pretty disappointed, but have since cooled off enough to just take off one star, rather than worse, since I don't know what other, similar products are like. So it works, but it's not the best. The battery is as they claimed, which is nice. (Not always the case.) The other star, however, must be deducted for the instructions. I am a technical writer. I know what good instructions are. These are not. First, they are so small that I can't imagine anyone being able to just read them. A trick I learned from a buddy who does appliance repair is taking pix of things with his phone, then blowing them up to see better. That's what I had to do with these! I couldn't believe it! The three buttons on the camera are also microscopic, so I had to figure that out based on geography. I got it on a lark, not sure what I wanted to do with it, and I'm still unsure, since the results have been lackluster. Really fun little camera. We use it a lot for making racing videos of the colts we train and for jackpots/rodeos. Only downside is it uses an sd card and you have to have a laptop or computer to get the videos off of it. Sp far the camera quality is decent and the sound as well. This camera is pretty good. The unit is a bit too bulky to be "hidden" The picture quality is good if bright lighting is around, but suffers if it is dark out. The unit has an IR lamp that is suppose to help with nighttime functions, but unless something is really close, it does not help that much. The battery last as advertised and has even survived a few drops so far. The built in memory card makes transferring the videos easy. All-in-all, I'd say it is an okay value for the dollar spent. 6/10 would recommend if videoing in bright lighting conditions. Read more
